Tomorrow we're going to send in our disc to 2Sicc reviews. So I decided to look at their site and read some of the comments to see if they sugar coat or give the real. Most of you know how they do it by rating out of 5 stars. Well.... man, I found a review of an old lil Wayne album that got ONE STAR!! It was the funniest shit I have ever heard from a reviewer. I hate to laugh at other's misfortune, but I think whoever wrote it inteded for it to be laughed at. If you want a laugh, check out this review. I cut out a couple of songs because otherwise it'd be too long. But I left most of the funny stuff:
Lil Wayne - 500 Degreez
Year Released: 2002

Summary:
"Overall this album has to be one of the, honestly, worse albums I have ever heard in my life. At first I didn't like Juvenile's "400 Degreez," but when I compare it to this album, it's a classic. This album is no were close to being 500 Degreez. If it had anything to do with 500 Degreez it'd be a negative. Even if your Cash Money Records or Lil Wayne's biggest fan I'd suggest listening to the samples of this album. Listening to this album honestly is a waste of time, and even though there gonna make millions off of it, I always look at music like this "Quality over Quanity." If your in a store and you see this album I suggest passing it up, because there are many other releases probably in the same section that are a million times tighter then this album. "
Song by song:
"Fly Talkin'"
This is just your average Cash Money intro, just talkin and talkin about how they this and that.
"Look at Me"
Ok, this is a very horrible start for an album. I was expecting some hot ish since all their artists are gone and they can focus more on Lil Wayne. For all that heard the song the Neptunes produced for Britney Spears, you know the one that was on TV for like 6 months straight a whole year ago, "I'm a Slave For U," this beat sounds somewhat like it. Very horrible track.
"Gangstas and Pimps" ft. Baby
Very nice start in this song, but Mannie Fresh messes it up saying some stupid shit. After the intro of Mannie Fresh theres some singing on it which seems like it's somewhat of a joke, but you can't really tell. Once again this is another nothin special song. He says a small diss to Juvenile saying "It's 500 Degreez Not 400." The Lyrics on this song are very corny and seem rushed.
"Lovely"
Nice beat on this song, it's some of that Gangsta Shit, this beat should have been released on the Mack 10 album, since Lil Wayne can't rock gangsta beats. The beat is so nice you really won't notice Lil Wayne's vocals on it. Very corny lyrics once again.
"Gangsta Shit" ft. Petey Pablo
Nice crunk beat. Didn't like the first verse, but I liked Lil Wayne's vocals on the chorus. I do not like the second verse at all. Next!!!
"Where You At"
This is a pretty nice song, only thing wrong is Lil Wayne ain't on fucking beat at ALL!!! Listen to the first verse, he's off beat the whole time. The chorus is kinda corny, but it's pretty tight and he's on beat a bit.
"500 Degreez"
Umm, now this song seems exactly like a No Limit song. Very corny, talking about soldiers, and trying to test out new rapping styles that sound like crap. Lil Wayne is not on beat what-so-ever. I am not feeling this song at all. I bet Lil Wayne didn't even notice the little melody in the back that goes up on two bars then goes back down, cuz his vocals stay straight not moving up or down at all.
"Go Hard"
Yes, for the second time on this album it's a 5 out of 5 song. It's kinda like the 400 Degreez song, but the beat has more to it and bumps way more. This track is a diss to Juvenile, B.G., and Turk if you can't tell. If you can't rewind it and take another listen to it, and this time take a listen to the lyrics.
"Young'n Blues"
Pretty tight beat, but once again Lil Wayne dosen't prove he has 500 Degreez on this album. He's way off beat on this song, and just seems like he's talking, after he walked in the studio a minute earlier before recording.
"Rob Nice Live on the Radio"
I do not like this song at all. Another try song by Cash Money Records to create another anthem. NEXT!!!
"Get That Dough" ft. Baby Tateeze, Cristale
A very wack song, I knew awhile ago that Cash Money Records quality of records were going downhill. This album so far has shown the worst of the worst. This is just a waste of time on this track, it's just Baby and Mannie Fresh cussing a lot on here and the title dosen't even releate to what there talking about.
"Fo Sheezy"
The start of this song is very horrible. Baby saying get that dough, it's on beat, but it's corny as hell. The beat is pretty tight, but Lil Wayne for the 150th time is off beat. Next!!!
"Fly Talkin' Go Home"
Ok I'm very happy were to the end of the album, because honestly I don't know how much more I can take of repeative lyrics, and wack beats. If you've heard a Lil Wayne song then you'll know what this song is about because the last 19 songs on this album were the same lyrics besides the song "Young N Blues."
--------------------
its me again.... that was the harshest review I have ever seen. DAAAAAAYUM!! You gotta give ol boy credit or not sugar coatin it, sounds like he was bein honest, not hatin. I know it has nothing to do with Bay music...but it was funny enough to post.
