THE FIRST ANNUAL
LATIN RAP CONFERENCE 2004
JULY 28-30 Handlery Hotel
San Diego, CA
San Diego, California - Summer 2004 - The First Annual Latin Rap Conference is being brought to you by the newly formed LRC Committee. We are a group of industry professionals who feel it is time to step forward and take control of our industry. Our goal is to catapult the strong Latin Rap industry into the forefront of the national media. The First Annual Latin Rap Conference will be the singular networking event in this industry, attracting professionals from over 60 different companies. With its high concentration of artists, labels and industry professionals, LRC will be one of the most publicized events in the Latin Rap business. Every aspect of the industry will be represented including the top innovators, artists, DJs, producers, radio and video programmers, retailers, distributors and many more. There will be nothing else like it.
Currently, the Latin Rap industry is undergoing a profound structural metamorphosis. There are artists getting mainstream recognition and major labels showing interest in independent companies. There is also a lack of unity among Latin artists, and in turn, a lack of real corporate power. Such matters are among the many that will be discussed and explored at Latin Rap Conference 2004. The LRC program will bring together informed professionals to present new ideas, discuss industry issues, and build new inroads for business development. Meetings and seminars will focus on topics such as market strategies, artist development, copyrighting, publishing, writing contracts, artist management, distribution, radio, promotion, internet retailing, and the media, just to name a few. With about eight important seminars on the agenda for 2004, LRC will begin its mission to provide a decisive global platform for resolving the current challenges and stimulating new industry growth and revenue.
