Being on the same label just means its easier to get label clearance to be a guest on another album. Plus its good cross promotion to have artist from your label on albums.

I just got confirmation that The Federation did, indeed ink a deal with Warner Bros...
I also heard that they performed at the Urban Network and killed it...

Major ups to them...they had the crowd goin...18 dummy!!!!

The Federation just got some executive fired over at Warner. There's no way that shit is gonna work Nationwide. 5k the first week on Virgin killed them (25k total). Keep in mind Rick Rock they also did 6k the first week on MCA with cosmic slopshop(28k total). I like some of Rick Rock's production, but he's a lousy A&R. I just wish he would find some better talent to exploit his beats. Oh'well another chance squandered. Federation plus promotions =100k max. I'll take all bets.
