yea they rereleased it as a two disc with the second disc having songs they did live i think. they had it at amoeba and probably at rasputins.

its some tight shit. they re-realed Steal This Album with unreleased and live tracks on a new label (the old one was DogDay)--its now called "steal this Double Album" but its for the price of a single album. swoop it.

but also swoop Party Music and Genocide & Juice, all 3 are classics to me. their first one, Kill MY Landlord, sounds hella old school now.

"phat cats bigga phish" was dope as fuck....

id say "the COUP" is more playa playa oakland hip hop, like saafir and his hobo junction mixed with blackalicious and hieroglyphics... oh and with a little smidgen of the luniz....

Who else can mix it up both political & street like Boots and Pam? Nobody, except maybe Quinn or 'Pac. Yeah, "Steal This Double Album" is the same as the one that was on DogDay and the live disc is tight too. An all-time classic. Probably one of the best albums ever.

Boots is easily one of the rawest ever out the Bay.

"The streetlight reflects off the piss on the ground/
Which reflects off the hamburger sign that turns 'round/
Which reflects off the chrome on the BMW/
Which reflects off the fact that I'm broke/
So what the fuck is new..."

I may be off a little there 'cause I haven't listened to the "Genocide & Juice" album in a while, but you get the idea.

Or how 'bout this gem

"...I choose to rock the boat instead of rock the vote/
We threw the mayor's body in the Bay/
To see if it would sink or float/
You try to be the mack to me/
You can't we got agility/
We taking factories, production plants and all facilities/
We gots a gang of mothafuckas who done ate their Wheaties/
No peace treaties/
You're swimming in your own feces/
Screwed us, now you're through with us and don't need us/
Shoulda used a rubber/
'Cause this shit develops like a fetus..."

Again, I may be off a little bit, but damn he's dope.
