I have been a die hard Coup fan since "Kill My Land Lord" dropped. I all time favorite Coup CD is "Genocide & Juice". I like all of their shit, but I was no feelin "Party Music". It was a big disappointment to me. I was expecting some shit like the first 3 LP's. But I guess it's good to always switch up your shit and try to grab different people. I just hope their next CD will be like their first shit. And I wish E-Roc would come back, Boots & E-Roc made a perfect combination.

Boots is supposed to be forming a group with dead prez called the instigators. not sure when though. that should be a pretty politically heated alum. With all that's going on these dayz, it's kinda hard for rappers to stay political. Did ya'll know about the contraversey of the coup's original album cover for Party Music before the label changed it?

That was a good review, I was surprised at all the praise from some of the media that they got. Check out www.thecoup.net and check out the press they got. THey've always had problems with the labels not pushing them the way they were told they would be pushed. Who else is doin' some politicalshit out the bay area? the black panther party have a record label, Black Panther Records. They were shootin' a video out in west oakland. I think it was supposed to have dropped already.
