Music is nothing but an accessory nowadays. It's there until you get sick of it and then you move on to the next (like shoes). There's so many other things out there that compete for the attention of consumers nowadays, that music isn't as important to people as it used to be. That's why we shouldn't expect todays consumers to care about anything OTHER than hyphy and thizz.
Anyone in the music business is doing themselves a disservice by clinging on to the past because .... well ... it's the past.
