Major channels (labels) to push these albums.

Originality amongst the bay artists (with a few exceptions). I'm already sick of hearing cats I've never heard of on the radio because they say the words 'Go Dumb' and 'Hyphy' in their songs.

Quality beats by the new comers (again with a few exceptions). The vets are putting together nice beats, but these new booties need to learn what a melody is.

That's all I can think of for now ...

UNITY, SHMUNITY ...

I understand the concept of unity - but we have to be realistic. At the end of the day mufuckas is ultimately out for themselves - and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

When you have a chance to be the first big thing from your region in a long time, you don't wanna go and partner up with somebody that's tryin to get to the same spot that you are.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the unification of the Bay Area artists but it just aint a realistic concept (for many reasons).

It doesn't matter - can't expect them to care.

Music is nothing but an accessory nowadays. It's there until you get sick of it and then you move on to the next (like shoes). There's so many other things out there that compete for the attention of consumers nowadays, that music isn't as important to people as it used to be. That's why we shouldn't expect todays consumers to care about anything OTHER than hyphy and thizz.

Anyone in the music business is doing themselves a disservice by clinging on to the past because .... well ... it's the past.
