Where do yall see Bay Area rap going in 2009? It's pretty safe to say that San Quinn and E-40 made Bay rap relevant in 08, but only in the last few months. I'm really feeling what the Livewire Da Gang/Town Thizzness cats is doing. They probably got the strongest camp right now.....I'm wondering if they can sustain the momentum they have for 2009. Besides them, I think if Yukmouth, Mistah F.A.B., and The Jacka have strong releases in early 09', the Bay can finally get some attention from the rest of the game, WITHOUT A GIMIC (hyphy).

Most Anitcipated 09' Releases

Yukmouth - "West Coast Don"
The Jacka - "Tear Gas"
Mistah F.A.B. - "The Bus Ride"

Tear Gas is still the one i'm looking forward to most...but i said that at the start of 07 and 08....if it doesn't drop in 09 i'm gonna stop caring.

Other than that.... looking forward to new solo albums from Clyde Carson, Turf Talk, & J. Stalin the most....if they come out.

I feel u on the Jack, but what the hell does Clyde have planned? It seems like his rap career has been in limbo since he left the Bay. I aint saying he shoulda stayed, but the nigga dont even release mixtapes by himself. Everything he's on has The Game on it.
