I've lived in the 650 pretty much all my life and anyone goin around saying its grimey is hella falsified. There are a handful of dirty neighborhoods but people aren't getting killed at the rate it goes down in a real grimey spot in the bay area. Its like people want that shit to be bad cuz they think the shit is cool. There is a crime statistics website somewhere I used to look at to determine the best places to live and what not and every city in the west and south bay compared to national averages had a big smiley face next to it indicating its below the national average only thing that would be at or below would be like car theft and shit like that, violent crime is pretty tame for the most part

crime statistics means people are getting locked up and/or given citations or someone wrote a report which could be debated in many different situations; not that niggas is doin' crime and getting away with it..which is what we should be trying to get statistics of.

i think its reported crime that gets posted in the statistics, murders are usually reported and if they aren't murders they start off as missing persons reports. Most car theft is reported cuz if your shit is stolen you need a police report to keep it good with the insurance company. I heard somewhere that most rape victims don't report it cuz getting raped is traumatic enough
Most third world countries are like that...my coworkers dad was in The Phillipines and had a Rolex on his wrist, and was driving with his arm out of the window in the middle of traffic, some kids came up and straight sliced his wrist off for it...
