Got the new issues of both The Source and XXL this week at the Magic in Vegas, and the Bay is definitely WELL represented and doin it BIG in both magazines.

In The Source (UGK Cover), they got a feature story on E-40, and his comeback. They got quotes from 40, Keak, F.A.B., T-K.A.S.H and others. The Product (Willie Hen & Malice) got a story too with Scarface. The Product album also got reviewed and got 4 MICS!! DJ Warrior of the Cali Untouchable DJ's also has an article in here. Planet Asia and Lil Al's albums are in the Indepents Section, And the "Dimepiece" Model is Meme Lacour out of San Jose

And in the XXL (T.I. Cover) they're doin it ridiculous, E-40 and Droop-E got an article together, Mistah F.A.B. is the first article in the "Show and Prove" section, followed right behind him by G. Malone, and a couple pages later by The Product again (Willie Hen, Malice and Scarface), the Young Black Brotha Video Collection DVD got reviewed, Snoop got an article about his football league, Ice Cube got an article about his "Child Support" song, and Rasco's new album got reviewed and got a Large

That's a lot of fuckin BAY AREA and WEST COAST overall representation in the 2 biggest rap magazines in the same month, the come back is in full progress!!!!

wait a minute, is that product thing on an indie... or a major label?

regardless, i haven't seen a less nationally established artist in the record review section in a VERY long time... that move to kick benzino and mays out of the source is paying off

i will be at barnes & noble to check this out later

yeah we got a lot of coverage in these new magazines, was nice to see, especially when they both dropped at the Magic in Vegas and there's people from all over the world there to pick them up before they really hit the newsstands
