The problem with breeding a complacent apathetic society is that if they won’t fight the good fight for themselves at home you can’t expect them to stick with the fight in foreign far away places.

Catch-22

if the forigen war was justified then id be willing to bet there'd be a loud warcry, but if its not...your nationalism is for a greed laden formula of a another mans plot..

^^i think the biggest proof of their pansiness is their insecurity about everything...everythings a "threat" to the US, and we constantly need to be told we're "winning" whether or not that actually means anything. a roommate of mine was arguing that invading Iraq was necessary for Americans, because they needed the reassurance that we could still "kick some ass."

They don't have to win. All they have to do is not lose. The American public will take care of the rest.
How the hell do you not lose and not win at the same time, It's hard for me to believe that a war can be a tie, everyone looses.

I'm more interested to see how American citizens who own guns will react to an invasion on our soil. I know other countries have armed citizens but I have this gut feeling that we won't have to recruit much on the homefront.

It has everything to do with offensive and defensive strategies. An offensive one would look to win the war, while focusing on defense would help to assure that you just don't lose. As funny as it sounds the same logic can be found in sports.

fuck the foreign shit....people in the US need help too....fuck iraq, fuck israel...presidents and administartions need to spend more money AT HOME (in the US) than on other fucking countries that can't even figure out who's going to lead them one day to the next....

the people who run this country (the US), are fucking douche bags.

its been the controlling bodies of this country's job to keep the people ignorant about thinking about that possibility, when lance bass being gay and mel gibsons dui being cover stories in the news. to give the feeling of "freedom" and everything being all good here, they remove even the thought of war to enter our minds.
when it comes, i predict there will be pandamonium. all the racism and religious descrimination, and ignorance, and selfish bullshit that lies under the surface of this country will explode into the streets like a volcano. fear will overcome everybody and fear alone will control them. they will have no focus, no readiness, no knowledge of nething, just fear and the poisonous behavior that fear creates.
it will be the responsibility of few to try their hardest to lead the many. and chances are, they will fail in the end.

like i said, its gonna be real interesting to watch.

BLAH BLAH BLAH, Christian Poser, I've heard better. But for you to think that the Government wasn't involved in ANY OF THIS BULLSHIT GOING ON, I hope you die slow for all those people killed because of America's Agenda of spreading Democracy. WTF has it done for countries? Don't say it's given them a better way of life! Then explain to me the POS war America is at right now! Explaining to me why we shouldn't believe these conspiracy theories! I guess you love a government that always has a reason for Stupid War. I understand the Civil War, the War of Independence, WW1 AND 2.

Bush had a chance to get rid of Saddam in the Golf war, since he didn't look what has happened. OPEN YOU DAMN EYES, CAUSE MOST OF THESE CONSPIRACY THEORIES, WILL ONE DAY BE PROVEN TO BE FACT!

I bet you're one of the POS that think Islam and all Muslims are to blame huh? I was like that, till I opened my eyes and saw that our own government, and possibly even the people around me were the ones I should be watching out for!

Look how Katrina went down, everyone was either trying to Survive, steal, or kill people. That's how it'll be.
What were they supposed to do? Fight the hurricane? All of those stores and everything in them were bound to be destroyed and people took it upon themselves to come up. I'm not saying it's right or wrong but what happened with Katrina is completely different.
