I just heard a song on the radio this morning by Timbaland speaking on this Producer/Beatmaker issue in his verse. Said something like..." I'm a real producer...you just a keyboard man...I get a half a mil for my beats, you get a couple of grand" ...shit...I'm happy witha couple of C-Notes....lol.. I wonder who he was talkin bout.

Yeah, until you gotta strum some shit.....
I never said there was anything wrong with what he did either, why do you keep trying to debate with everybody in here? Actually don't answer that, lol
I aint trying to read your 2 page response on why people debate in forums!

lol, your trippin dog. I wasn't even trying to say you said something wrong. I was just saying it myself, it was more a figure of speech if you understand. Anyways, your the one that asked the question of "why?" in the first place, so I gave you a possible answer.

HERESY please explain...Not tryin to beef, but just wanna hear your view on why he should be slapped for sayin that
Because its disrespectful to people who have talent but haven't reached his status. He is making it appear as if money is the determing factor for what a producer is, and he has probably forgotten that at one time he DIDN'T get half a ticket for his production. If someone is getting a thousand bucks or so for what they do don't knock their hustle. What if Dre came out and said, "I'm a real producer, I get a mill for my shit, I've produced albums that have gone diamond"? Where would that leave Timb?

^^^He does make a point. I didn't like that attitude either that Blaze expressed in that quote. That ain't cool to brag about money. That's one of the reasons why the hiphop scene is so wack no because of that greed and lust for money. It's hard to find a true soul out there.
