lets just say if Culpepper would have played this game would have def. been EASILY won! McCown was over throwing players all damn game.. Even in the last few mins Porter could have easily got in for a game winning TD, but what does mcCown down? over throw him! Shit Kiffin is starting to piss me off.. You signed Culpepper for a reason now put your best QB in the damn game..

It's funny how the raider fans act like Culpepper is the shit and would be winning these games for them. What exactly leads you to believe that? Culpepper hasn't been doing shit since 2004.. Which happens to be the last time he had Randy Moss to throw to. There is no Moss on the team now..

I'm not saying they wouldn't have a better shot with Culpepper in there, I'm just wondering what's making you guys think Culpepper is that much better than McCown. You guys feel he is the best QB on the roster, but the guys in charge, the ones who see him everyday in practice, don't think so.

Kiffin's only reason for starting McCown over Culpepper is McCown's knowledge of the playbook. That's it.

The reason we think Culpepper should be starting is because he's more experienced, has better accuracy on down field throws... and Culpepper actually finished drives in pre-season. McCown doesn't lead us to scoring drives. Culpepper has. It's not that hard to figure out. McCown can't throw deep period.

Yo jmlacn no homie I dont listen to know. u must be ridin heavy on dudes nuts. Scary cant fuck wit me on sports trust me!! What happened last year?? Young smoked Cutler with less talent and almost took a scrub team to the playoffs. He single handedly wins games which Cutler will never do. 2ndly Dont try to compare stats between a running qb and a pocket qb and also dont bring up who has more talent around them to get the numbers they got. nice try but to no avail! U a bronco fan so i can feel that u biased but Cutler cant fuck wit Young homie point blank! Put Young on Denver and they win the bowl!! Put Cutler on the Titans they win 4 games if that. And i thought u said that everyone says Cutler is far along, but then u say that I wtahc to much espn if i think Young is better!! U just contradicted yourself homie!! U cant fuck wit a guru! try again!! Got Em!!

well what we fans SEEN in preseason and past games, etc.. Culpepper is def the better QB.. He's able to get the ball deep and has a lot better accuracy than McCown.. If McCown and the rest of the team are able to keep the team in games and even ahead late in games.. what makes you think Culpepper cant do a better job to help tha team get above that hump.. I'm starting to think there might be a money issue involved with a roster bonus if he plays or something.. because clearly McCown is struggling and you got a better QB sitting there ready to go

damn how hard can it be to learn this playbook!?! IMO Culpepper has been here long enough to know what to do..

Man that's Kiffin's excuse for keeping McCown in.
yaah I honestly think there may be something else involved that we dont know about.. maybe a guranteed roster bonus is he plays in a certain amount of games or something.. This may be Als decision and not actually Kiffins

You've only seen him do well in preseason, and that doesn't make a bit of difference. The Niners D looked like shit in preseason (1st string), but once the season started they're looking hard. Culpepper looked horrible last year before he got hurt and he didn't look good in Minnesota the year before that after Randy Moss left the scene. I'm just saying I don't see why you guys think he woulda won those games for you. I'm not talking shit or trying to start a debate, I just really don't see why you guys think Culpepper is so much better for you guys. I could be wrong and Daunte could come in and tear shit up, but he hasn't shown anything that would truly make anyone think that's what would happen if he were in there.

FOR ONE IT'S BECAUSE HE'S A PROVEN NFL QB. ONE WHO HAS WON A TON OF GAMES, THREW A SHITLOAD OF TD'S AND HAS MADE A COUPLE PRO-BOWLS. PEOPLE CAN TRY AND DIMINISH HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS ALL THEY WANT BECAUSE HE HAD RANDY MOSS OR BECAUSE HE DID BAD IN MIAMI, BUT THE FACT IS HE WAS PLAYING INJURED IN MIAMI. THEY RUSHED HIM BACK ON THE FIELD TOO EARLY. ALSO, RANDY NEEDED DAUNTE TO PUT THAT BALL UP IN THOSE SPOTS JUST AS MUCH AS DAUNTE NEEDED RANDY.

YOU'RE RIGHT IN THAT IT'S HARD TO MAKE REAL ASSESSMENTS BASED ON PRE-SEASON GAMES, BUT I JUDGE IT BY HOW DAUNTE'S POISE COMPARES TO MCCOWN'S IN THE POCKET. DAUNTE PANICS LESS. HE APPEARS TO GO THROUGH HIS CHECKDOWNS MORE SMOOTHLY AND ABOVE ALL ELSE: HE DOESN'T ADVERTISE HIS PASSES LIKE MCCOWN DOES. THIS IS MCCOWN'S BIGGEST WEAKNESS AND IT ENABLES DEFENDERS TO PICK HIM OFF VERY EASILY.

I'M NOT SAYING THAT WE'RE GONNA BALL THE HELL OUT WITH DAUNTE. BUT I THINK IT'S PRETTY CLEAR THAT HE GIVES US THE BEST CHANCE TO GET WINS.

Thank you for having a real answer.

I think you guys will get to see what Culpepper can do if McCown fucks up again this week.

THE SAD THING IS THAT IF MCCOWN HAS A GOOD GAME AND WE BEAT THE BROWNS, THEN HE STAYS IN TO FACE THAT DOLPHIN D IN MIAMI NEXT. I WISH WE WOULD HAVE JUST DID THE RIGHT THING AND BENCHED MCCOWN AFTER THIS LAST DEBACLE. EVEN IF MCCOWN WINS ONE GAME FOR US THAT'LL BUY HIM TIME TO LOSE ANOTHER TWO.
