Got this from the 49ers board.......seems like its gonna happen.....Espn Just reported Newberry out 4 season......


While we were tailgating today, my pal, Dave Newberry, Jeremy's dad, came by and let us know that Jeremy wil be having microfracture surgery on Tuesday on his good knee, will be going on IR and retiring, although he will not announce his retirement until after the season is over.
