What's up, NW!?!

I am getting ready to drop a group album. The name of the group is called Turf Grindaz. The name of the album is "Poundin' Tha Pavement".

The bulk of the album was produced by Big Ice & FunkDaddy. The CD layout was designed by Thomas of 3rd Eye Design. I am looking for honest feedback, positive or negative. Please check out the tracks and let me know which song we should push as the single.

Also please let me know what you think the the graphics for the album.

Thank you guys for your feedback. The project will be available April 12th. I am going to try to repost that "No Tell Motel" link again.

Thomas did a great job on the design. He is professional and meticulous. He worked miracles with the artwork.

my audio isn't workin...buuut...

as for the artwork...it's cool...to me it doesn't really look like seattle...reminds me more of some shit i'd see from someone in the Bay....i looked at it and immediately thought of another flier i've seen on here before...Now, i'm not saying it isn't tight or a good piece of artwork....it's not my favorite.

It's all good, big homie!?! I wasn't trying to have the CD cover look like any place in Seattle. I think it is real cliche for Seattle artists to do that now. I was more aiming towards the concept of the album, Poundin' Tha Pavement. I let Thomas pretty much do his thing.

I appreciate the feedback.

@ Maniac541, Thank you for at least checking it out. I know not everybody is going to like my music. And you can't please everybody musically, but I would like to try. These are just the potential singles. I got some shit I believe you are going to like. If not, it's all good. I'm just glad that you peeped the tracks.

This album has more of a party/club sound to it. And it is definately bay area influenced, but there is a big Seattle feel to it. I think listening to the album, you will be able to tell we are a Seattle group.

I will also be posting up some album tracks to get y'alls opinions.

PEACE & BLESSINGS

The last link isn't working for me, so I only heard three songs. I personally like "Choosin' Shoes", because of the beat and flow of the track. I'm not feelin' the "Summertime" track, because it seems a little outdated, corny like something that could have been tried in the early 90's. I'm probably not the one to ask though for pushing radio singles, because most of the shit that makes it on radio is corny, IMO.

I just listened to the "No Tell Motel". I actually had to download it to listen to it. It's not bad at all and I would say it's the other track you posted that was descent. If you made the majority of your tracks like "Choosin' Shoes", I would buy...

I figured as much. I did notice the concept though, that was the first thing I did notice, so that's good.

Thomas does good work, I wasn't implying the quality was anything less than dope, cause it's nice.

And if you had the space needle and queen anne, I'd say that's cliche...but you could chill down in front of Pike Place Market and have the same concept....

I'm glad you appreciate the feedback tho, cause I think the last time I said something you talked shit to me. lol...although I'm sure I was as constructive the last time. lol.....

I'll check out the audio on a friend's computer or somethin though and post another reply.

Once again, Thank you all for voting and for your comments and feedback.

Summertime In Tha Sea was hard for me to write because I wasn't really feeling it. It was a great beat, but it was more of a laidback track. It did have that 90's feel to it. But I think that is what's great about the track. It has that old school 90's feel to it.

It's a track that you can chill and smoke out to it. Cruise around the town and bump the track. Chill with your friends and family and have a barbeque. My boy Mario'so does the hook. He kinda reminds me of John Legend on the song.

Choosin' Shoez is one of my favorite tracks on the album. And I promise we got a lil something for everybody. There are more songs like Choosin' Shoez on the album, but we got some real club bangers on there.

The album will be available on April 12th. I will be postin' up some more songs from the album real soon. I am going to post up some of my favorite tracks off the album.

PEACE & BLESSINGS
