One thing I noticed is that the moon is the light source. However it does not seem to apply to everything and does not affect most of the artwork.

So I would suggest using the bright blue to highlight more areas. Also using the black ink on more areas will definitely give life to the smoke and make the image pop more apposed to looking flat. That is unless you want the flat look?
