^^nice way to spend your money on a sure thing
lmao - you have to be bloody good to make a living from poker - and if you have a bad run of luck, you might have to sell your house and car...

I've been playing for about 5 years now - I play on pokerchamps, pacific poker and hollywood poker online, plus down at the casino occasionally and with my mates every few weeks at my house ($40 per person, nice and cheap). I wouldn't dream of playing it for a living though, even though I'm pretty good (started with about $120 online real money, up to just over $1100). I just play for fun.

It sure is. Im not a beginner. I've been playing internetpoker for 3 years now. Made alot of extra money on the side of my real job. This aint new to me or my friends that make a living out of poker. People that dont play or know anything about poker will doubt it . But i know im gonna make it . Plus i got all my bills ,rent and all covered so its allright . We have a different system overhere in Sweden. You dont have to be on welfare if you aint got a job. We have a thing overhere that garantees you 80 percent of your salary you had when you were working. Its like a fond where you have to pay 150 dollars each year to be garanteed 80% of your salary if you quit or get fired. You can only use it for a year , then you have to find a job again. But im gonna chill on my pokerscrill so its all good...

Thats cool . I used to put in 500 dollars and everytime i got to 1500 dollars i put
1000 dollars on my bankaccount and then i saved the 500 on my pokeraccount to build it up to 1500 again . It worked fine, but im greedy. Winning 1k dollar every 2weeks is not enough for me. Now i've been reading alot of books to improve my game even more. So i havent been playing much lately. Im trying to focus on the books and tactics to gain even more knowledge so im prepared for my investment next year.

what sites are best to make money? and what sites you would suggest for playing not for money?

so the more money you put in the more you can win?

i also wondered if internet poker is secure against frauds.

What are you talking about? I was asking you 2 questions that are pretty important if you are going to play poker for a living. You obviously aren't ready.

I been at this for a hot minute (since 1998). Hold Em is a great game and it's popularity from tv has brought the industry hordes of new players like yourselves.

When or if you start to really like the game, you will want to bracj out and learn other forms of poker. Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo is where it's at if you want to win more big bets per hand.

Sorry , i misunderstood. I thought you were trying to be sarcastic like you wanted me to take the pokertalk to the twoplustwo forums. my bad. And yeh i had 2600 dollars raked for a month and got 1300 in cashback(50 % cashback on all raked hands) for 30 days of playing on www.nordicbet.com . But im gonna put my money on another site when i play nextyear . www.partypoker.com got atleast 50.000 people online anytime of the day 24/7 .

I hit up card rooms a lot and I've come up a shit load I've never lost more than 200 bones so I'm good with that. Last night though I go to Napa Valley Casino in American Canyon at like 3 am. I sit down at the 3 - 6 table and who do I see..... Little bruce. He was my competition at the 3 - 6 table LOL.
