The S.T.A.N.D (Students Taking Action for Democracy) program has come up with an idea for a letter campaign to write to the governor of California in pursuit to better the education of all California's students. They're trying to get the whole Bay involved with media, publicity, and support. If you're interested in trying to help you can contact Sandra Navarro, a S.T.A.N.D teacher, at (510) 293 - 8591 x 4690.

I know it's a little late but their program is going to the State Capitol Building on April 19, 2005 to personally deliver the letter to one of the governor's representatives. So you can contact Sandra Navarro if you would like to be apart of that in anyway.

I don't know much personally just tryin to spread the word for them. Contact Sandra Navarro or [email protected] , a S.T.A.N.D student.
