exposing ourself as what? a person with a certain taste for music that the song didnt fulfill? there is different situations to where you hear a song that makes it sound different. like if you hear it on the radio you might think damn this song is on the radio more pople might like it and you will like it then. or maybe you heard it at a club and the bitches were diggin that shit, so you started to like it. or maybe you heard it once and just thought the hook was gay and didnt play it for weeks later, then when you listened to it it wasnt as bad as you first impression of it. what if you heard it in the morning when you just woke up, how you posed to get hyphy when you just woke up. if you heard it at night while driving you might like it better. i dunno just my opinon.

this is a DUMB ASS thread. to me E40 always has been like fine wine. It gets better w/ time. That goes for all his classics. Oh f*ckin' BOY! Who gives a f*ck if cats weren't on this from the get-go. NYC probably wasn't feelin' it when it first came out. Soon they finna go DUMB DUMB cuz everybody else is. As long as people recognize and show love, it's ALL LOVE. It's the negativity that's been turning other people's ears away from us. Trust me, I was one of them, and I'm man enough to say it, cuz we all sick of people biting bay lingo. But look at them now or real SOON. They all finna look real stupid and recognize where all their swagger came from. REAL recognize REAL and the fake cats in the rap industry are gonna look REAL stupid in the mainstream once the Bay blows. And that's watsup.

oh, and going back to me comparing E40 to fine wine. It goes w/ his whole career. Unfortunately, a lot cats like myself didn't feel "Tell Me When To Go" at first and it's hook and all cuz to ME, it kinda sounded corny, and I'm sure it did w/ everything else. For the 1st w/ me listening to E40, I didn't catch on to one of his songs. I'm usually ALWAYS on E40's latest, but this track took a lil time to getting used to, especially w/ production by Lil'Jon and his take of the Hyphy Sound. But yeah, just wanted to put in my 2 cents and I'm pretty sure a LOT of people can agree w/ what I said....... or not.

If there were no people on the bandwagon, then 40 would sell 40k units. WITH bandwagon hoppers, he sells 400k units+....

PS, the beat and "hyphiness" of the song make it popular, definitely not the lyrical content (can't understand Keak as usual now-a-days). Therefore, to me it's another one-hit-wonder track... to ME that is....... Maybe the album will be 180º different and I'll like it, who knows.

This song is garbage. Check soundscan when it drops. SuperHyphy has a much better chance of working nationally. Where are the bitches in the video? Who's gay ass idea was it to have a video full of men. Very smart. The shit has about as much of a chance of working as The Federation did on Virgin.

ALso, I am glad 40 water didn't conform and actually used some creativity in the video instead of the same garbage you see......I love seeing tight breezies, but the video has a different concept and might gain more intrigue for not being the same ole shiet
