Theres no doubt in my mind that Tech could take it to the next level and leave the underground. But if were talkin about the underground, no one can fuck with what icp has accomplished. Everyone talks shit on them(even alot Of underground fans) but they started from scratch and now have a multi million dollar record company. At one time they were right behind the The Osbornes in merchandise sales. They have the Gathering of the Juggalos, thats like 7 to 10 thousand people traveling from all corners of the U.S. to see a underground music festival. I dont know of another underground artists besides tech that can bring fans in like they do.

My definition of an "underground artist" is someone who is signed to an independent label, and who has gotten little to no radio or video play. With that said, Ying Yang Twins are in no way underground besides the fact that they're independently signed. Their shit gets ridiculous radio play when it comes out (or at least, in MY city is does), so I don't consider them underground in the slightest.

That's why they wonder why we headline when I'm underground
Is this when defining a moment, as in
when I go to the bank
or is this when a connection, as in
they can't believe I can run when I have no legs

Figure out the use of the when and you have your answer

^^^Yea it all depends on your definition of underground cuz there are indie artists that have sold way more albums then Tech.

EX.
Ying Yang Twins
Lupe Fiasco
Jim Jones

Ying Yang Twins? Jim Jones? Come on now, really? They have been on the radio, nationally, on MTV for more then 2 seconds. They are far from underground. Indie, yes, but underground, not so much.

Even tho I doubt he comes close to Tech, ICP or Necro in sales, I like ya boi HayStak out of Cashville, TN. I don't know if the rest of ya'll are familiar with him like that, but round here(KY) he gets a lot of run from the underground set.

i only heard tech on regular radio once when i was in wichita and like 2 or 3
times on shade 45
but, in Kansas or Missouri or in the midwest in general it wouldn't be uncommon to hear him every once in a while on the radio.......Before I started even starting to listening to rap period.......I would hear his name all the time about his shows and his music.
