the #1 easiest way for tech to reach ears of those who've never heard him is through radio and television...the "public" airwaves where everybody get's a chance to be heard. except they don't. Clear Channel and the Big 5 hijacked that process (after the government allowed for it) just over 10 years ago. as it stands, the only way some people have ever heard of tech is if he comes through on a tour (and he can't hit EVERY city in the US) or if someone mentions it on the internet. it's not like all rap fans visit message boards like this.
he wants opportunities for mass exposure AND wants to do it with integrity (see the pay-for-play thread). it's almost like tech wants his cake and wants to eat it too...except that's the way it SHOULD be in the first place.
