Does this song display Tech's superior skill? No. It is catchy? Yes. Is that what you need to sell records in today's music world? Yes.

It is single material. It is more single material than Slacker or Here comes Tecca Nina to me.

Yes it is catchy and what yoou need to sell records in todays music world to some extent, but i thought tech was about originality and not following the formula. i want tech to make it but in his own way. he started his own record label, and has legions of fans all over the world from doing his own thing, not by following the formula of all these other garbage rappers.

mostly every new rapper coming out makes some half-assed attempt art a club song and it gets played and bam, he famous. but this rapper will most likely not be respected. Tech has respect for always doing his own thing, and i just hope he continues to do his own thing.

What makes you guys think that this isn't "Tech's own way". Just because you and I think Tech's work makes alot of shit that is out right now pale in comparison doesn't mean Tech doesn't like a mainstream sound. What sets Tech apart from other rappers is not how dark he is, shit there are mothafuckers darker than Tech out there. His content, and delivery are what sets him apart. All he is doing is creating a more diverse sound and therefore a more diverse audience. He NEEDS to get his shit to the world BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. All of these fucking years I have been listening to some of you guys bitch about how the mainstream wont accept Tech's music, and now yall are hating on some of his material yourselves. Fuck that shit. If you don't like a song you don't like it, but this (whether you like it or not) is a growing part of Tech's sound. And in 2 or 3 three years, it WILL change again. Real Talk.

For realz... Ya'll need to wake up and see whats really fuckin goin on in the rap world. I dont agree with MOST main stream shit. Cause its just a sorry ass chorus like "this is the way I live" or "Ridin Dirty" and you got a hit. Which just has a coo ass beat and a catchy ass hook and they make millions. Dont matter at all what they are rappin about as long as it goes along with the beat and everyone can sing along with the hook in the clubs. Just by Tech doing a song like this, which has a good ass beat and a catchy hook, but STILL has good rhymes in it, you all wanna bag on it like Tech "fell off" and all that bullshit. Fuck that, Techs music is for EVERYONE, and he is gonna do shit for EVERYONE. Not ALL of his shit is gonna be dark, and not ALL of his shit is gonna be Hip Hop, and not ALL of his shit is gonna be rock. Its gonna be all of that.

Get off your fuckin high horses and just support a artist you all love, which is what we are here for in the first place. No matter if you agree with it or not. I dont ALWAYS agree with everything Tech puts out, but Im not gonna come here and put that shit down, its his shit and I rep whatever he does. Call me a dick rider or whatever I really dont give a fuck. I just believe in what Tech is tryin to do, which is blur this whole white/black. rock/hiphop, dark/upbeat line that everyone uses to seperate artists from mainstream and underground. Thats what hes all about.

There is really no reason to not like this song, other than you just wanne hear Techs dark shit, and he cant be like that all the time. He has got to have upbeat, party like songs from time to time cause thats what he is about...

Anyone who wants to flame me... go ahead cuz Im drunk as fuck!!! hahahaha but this songs cracks bottom line.... fuck all ya'll

This track was recorded long before that E40 dropped holmes. I'm thinking early 2004...it was one of the first tracks done for Everready.

E-40 dropped his album in 05. He probably recorded the song in 03 0o0o0o0o.
