i dunoe if u didnt see this but theres a brief mention of tech on xxlmag mags website about indie rappers. even tho he was the number 1indie artist they seemed to overlook it when they wrote a post this past week about hiphop sales on the billboard. imo that was messed up for not posting tech's first week sales since he was number1 on billboard and number 4 on the hiphop sales chart.

Honorable Snubs

Unsigned doesn’t mean indie and neither do internet freestyles (no matter how many you drop). As many surprisingly cheered XXL’s Big 10 for featuring Killer Mike and slept-on acts like U-N-I, the rest cried foul for omitting Crooked I. Granted, the likes of Skyzoo and Consequence are worthy, they just weren’t buzzing enough at the time The Big 10 was published.

Here, XXLMag.com lists honorable Big 10 snubs and why they didn’t make the cut.

if u scroll all the way down and look for tech's pic this is what they wrote:
Tech N9ne (Our bad):The Kansas City-based veteran rapper just landed at number one on the Billboard independent album charts with his latest LP, Killer. We like totally missed that one.

I don't really understand what they're trying to get across. This article seems like "We are horrible at what we do, here's a blurb about important shit we missed in place of a proper article".

Because "owning up to their mistakes" to you, is just typing out a sentence at the bottom of a page regarding how they should have written a full article about it. Instead they wrote a full article about how their coverage sucks.

To me, that's just saying "We don't care to cover you, and here's a whole article about how we ignored the following artists".

The "full article" you're talking about is a little blurb they usually put at the end of their letters section. Quit blowing shit out of proportion.

Oh my bad. They mentioned blowing off the #1 indie release in a blurb. I stand corrected.

WTF?
