If you need $100 to play 1-2 limit, you're a fucking joke. I could break a 1-2 game with 50 bucks....MAX.

Never started with more than $100 at a 3-6 game. What for? That's 16 big bets!


Oh, JOSE! We are going to start trying to have a steady cash game at the crib. We just came up on some 100% clay chips from allinchips.net and tryin to find enough people to start a weekly game.

We started 2 weeks ago with just 5 of us. We'd like to get a steady rotation of 10-12 people....with at least 6 playin each week. Holler at some people who know some people who might want to play. Nothing crazy. We've been playing .50/1 just to keep it friendly. But always willing to bump it up.

Be warned....ya boy has been killin the game. Up 100 last two weeks. Too bad it's my friends and I gotta dump it back on drinks at the bar after we through.

I host a weekly cash game in a hotel room at Ameristar casino, it is $100 to play with a tournament format and timed blinds. The first 10 guys get in, and the payout is as follows.

1st $700
2nd $200
3rd $100

These are very good players, two of which are going with me in June to play in the world series, if you want a good serious game with some decent money at stake, give me a shout. Food and Drink included.


Usually on a thurs or Sunday night.

I own a league as well, it has been successful for two years now and we do trips to vegas, cruises, as well as cash, gift certificates and such, for FREE.

I went to VooDoo Lounge once. I wasn't really feelin it. I prefer Thai Place in downtown and Empire Room

Herb...what's the blind structure?

When are these tournaments usually? I know someone right now who would become a regular at this game.

What kind of people are already in this game? Like how you know them, where? What they do?

Just scouting the game before we come mop it up. LOL...for real let me know some inside info.

Come mop it up huh.

One of the guys played on the Circuit for about 8 months last year, alot of them do nothing but play poker, none of them are close friends, one of the guys is someone I am buying my house from. We have all played against eachother in tournaments before. The reason why we have this game is because we want quality play without a casino take. We use a table I own that has padded rails, its a pretty decent setup, 11.5 gram chips, not clay but good quality. Copag cards 100 percent plastic cards (the same model used at the world series last year.

1200 in chips
blinds start at 5-10 and increase every 18 minutes on a tournament program given to me by the imperial palace casino in vegas, as a gift for the players I send out there every month, it is an excellent tournament manager, with pauses for color ups and all.I only associate with one of these guys outside of this game and we go and play tournaments sometimes.

We usually play this game on a thurs after the 100 dollar tournament at ameristar, or sometimes on sundays.

Be warned though before you grab your mop, these are guys that make a living doing this, don't be dissappointed if you don't win the first 20 or 30 times. LOL.

check out the site, I have recently revamped the entire setup, so we have yet to restart some locations, but come try it out a time or two.

Jar, is Empire room a pretty dope place?? I've been hearin people talk about it but I haven't been. I also heard they are opening a new spot on 39th and central (KCMO's central) but I can't remember the name. Anyone know about that??
