Name a running back who is better than Emmitt?

He leads(RB) in both all time yards and all time TDs.

What more can you ask? When Jerry Rice does it, it makes him the best. When Emmitt does it, it makes him a ball hog and an old man who stayed in the game too long.

Jerry Rice stayed too long, Id put Barry Sanders over Emmit, Barry retired very young, and could still play and be effective today..

Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Jim Brown, Gayle Sayers.... The list goes on. Even current players are better than Emmitt was.... LaDainian Tomlinson, Shaun Alexander, Priest Holmes....

Emmitt Smith had a better line than all the above players (except maybe Alexander), those rushing records belong to THEM, not Smith.

You're a jackass if you think Emmitt is the best RB all time.

NOTHING will change Owens, not even money. Sure, he will change his attitude for a while just like he did in Philly, but he will quickly go back to bumping his gums and causing a stir in the locker room.... No matter where he ends up or who his coach is.
Man how in the fuck do you know? You don't know it all. Shut your punk as up. Sucka butt!

And you're a jackass for posting a stupid ass comment like that. If he thinks or believes Emmitt is the best back of all time then that what he believes. Why would he be a jackass for believing that? Got damn you a stupid muthafucka!

So does leading All-Time Yards and TouchDowns don't mean anything anymore?

Is that what your saying?

Ohh and don't forget thoses 3......Nigga How many....3 SuperBowl Rings and 1 SuperBowl MVP.

Not lets see:

Barry Sanders = Zero
Walter Payton = 1 ring
Jim Brown = did he win 1?
Gayle Sayers = ???
LT = 0
Shaun Alexander = 0
Priest Holmes = 0

By the numbers Emmitt is #1 All-Time and thats a FACT.

You ignorant piece of dog shit do you not understand what a great Ofensive LINE will do for your NUMBERS? Emmitt Smith had average attributes and was nowhere near as good as his numbers depict. He had the best line in modern football. YOU AND I could have put up serious number behind that O-Line. If Barry Sanders hadn't retired early he would have shitted on Smith's rushing record, and he had the WORST line in football. And I shouldn't even have to argue for Walter Payton, Jim Brown or Gayle Sayers. If you don't know then you're a fuckin JACKASS. Priest and LT are all around better than Emmitt Smith ever was. I'm not sure about Alexander but he's putting up the same type of numbers as Smith did, but he also has a great O-Line. Bottom line, Emmitt Smith is nowhere near the best RB all time, despite the numbers his O-Line allowed him to put up.

i'm a cowboys fan, and i don't think he is the best rb of all time. but he got the rings, and nobody else besides payton has a superbowl ring.

take shaun alexander and priest holmes out of that list about having great offensive lines. shaun alexander's whole left offensive line/fullback went to the pro bowl, and priest holmes is running behind three pro bowl linemen and a pro bowl fullback...

That says nothing about his ability as a RB because Dallas would have won those rings with or without him. It's a team effort. All that says is that everybody surrounding Emmitt was better than the people surrounding all the other Backs except Walter Payton.

I already said Alexander's line was good. In fact I've also said THEY deserved the MVP award last year, not Alexander. But Priest's line is not as good as Emmitt's was. Priest is a better runner and blocker than Emmitt ever was. So regardless of his line being good, he still didn't have it as easy as Emmitt did.

I can only imagine what some of these RunningBacks could have done behind an O-Line that good. Especially Barry Sanders.... GOD DAMN.

to be honest i don't think TO did anything that bad to deserve to get released from the team, the media overdid everything. The only couple bad things he did was start workin out in his driveway which is a lil un called for but fuck it football ain't football no more, its entertainment. then the other thing was i forget who but someone told him that michael irvin said if bret farve was the eagles qb that they would be un defeated and they asked TO if he thought that was true and his exact words were I THINK THAT WOULD BE A FAIR ASSESSMENT. yeah he kinda aired mcnabb out but the media over dos everything and makes the situation bigger then it seems, yall know how they do. then i heard what mcnabb said and i think he's ignorant as fuck now. that foo said that he wouldnt have been as offended by the comments TO made if hedidn't compare him to a white qb. donavan said that if TO said that about vick, leftwhich, culpepper on and onthen he wouldn't have been mad cuze they are black but since he said bret farve who's straight cracky he said it was like a form of black on black crime. i think i saw this at the time of the pro bowl on espn, it was fuckin ridiculous. TO puts his heart into the game just as much as anyone in the nfl. at the super bowl who showed up to play? not mcnabb. shit i remember seein TO hobblin in their on 1 and a half legs makin that shit happen. shit give me a choice id take TO before mcnabb any day. TO changes the schemes of offenses and if the piece of shit cowboys get him they gonna be dangerous because glenn and witten both got skills and i don't think TO has ever played with any other receiving talent like that around him. as much as i hate to admit it i think if the cowboys end up gettin him they gonna have a dangerous offense but still fuck em.

LOL!! Yeah I burned his (Plummer) garbage as on Madden.... but the reason I said he's garbage is because when the Giants came to town for that playoff game.... Amani Toomer roasted Plummer for 3 TD's in the first half... He's booty.

Did you forget the physical altercation he got in with Hugh Douglas? And then he proceeded to call out everyone on the team.

The thing about T.O. is he's a good player, and he plays very hard on every play. But he also gets pissed off when things don't go his way. You've seen him arguing with his coaches on the sideline (both in SF and Philly) and he also causes a huge disruption in the locker room, which effects a team more than you may think. So far he's never gotten along with any QB he's played with except Steve Young, but what the fuck is there for him to say about Steve Young? He woulda been booted faster than a football on opening kickoff if he woulda started shit with Young.

And about McNabb, I agree. He is ignorant as fuck for those lame ass comments he made.

On the real.... I do agree with this statement. Owens is probably the best receiver in the NFL but when his team loses he does start trippin'. Yeah he would have been a done deal if he would have started anything with Young. And he did deserved to get booted from the Eagles. He had so many counts against him by the Eagles (parking in the handicapped parking spaces, fighting). He was very disruptive.

But I do think that he won't do that again with whatever team he signs with because he'll be putting his career on the line. T.O. can't be that stupid.
