Supernatural Makes History, Sets World Record For Longest Freestyle

Underground legend Supernatural made history this past Saturday (August 5) at the Rock the Bells Festival in San Bernardino, Calif, by setting the Guinness world record for longest freestyle.

As SOHH previously reported Supernat had to beat Canadian rapper D.O.'s record of eight hours and 45 minutes.

According to the San Bernardino County Sun, Supernatural succeeded, freestyling for over 9 hours in a VIP ballroom. He rapped about things the crowd wrote on a dry-erase board and random items handed to him.

While Supernatural was making history, people outside were treated to performances by Redman, Mos Def, De La Soul, B-Real, Immortal Technique, Aesop Rock, Living Legends, Planet Asia and Talib Kweli, among others.

Among the highlights of the night was a performance from 'special guest' Lauryn Hill and a Wu-Tang tribute to fallen group mate ODB.

In related news, the Wu-Tang Clan is currently on a U.S. tour which kicked off in Phoenix on Friday and will wrap up in Ft. Lauderdale on August 25th.

Damn thats hella long! When I first took a look at the post i thought it was a 45 minute freestyle, but over 8 hours?! CRAZY.

S Natural can fresstyle good, But his album was trash I think that was the weakest album I ever got in my life. He one of those rappers thats good freestyling and battling but when it comes to putting a actual retail album together he can cut it.
