im going to a Tech School and im getting 5500 from the Federal Pell Grant and and extra 1200 from the state. they want to give me an extra 5 grand in loans, but fuck that, MATC dont cost that much.

and they give you a check of whatever wasnt used from that semester and that money is your's to keep

I paid my school loan off last year..C.C.A. (Culinary Academy) in S.F. 30k for a degree in '04...... I heard its like 60k now + there was a huge class action shit that fucked the school & students ...........

And then you learn nobody has asked to even see it , so just say you got a degree they don't check . .... LOLOL

But then add :

Rent in S.F. = 1,400 a month 1035 Sutter & Hyde
Food = School hooked it up , but had to buy some stuff .
Entertainment = endless amounts if ya got it .
I was a drug addict @ the time daily habit = $100-200 easy
Work just to try & keep up w/ the rent , drugs , everything .

College is $$$$$$$$$$$ have fun there - It only happens once !

my sister went to that same school. finished back in like 07 i think, shes part of that lawsuit too or whatever it is

she completed that school and ended up in the kitchen with a bunch of untrained illegals. she got promoted fairly quickly though, so the school did help some what

Thats how its done - once they see you have potential you move up quick , they illegals in the kitchen will never move up. Having the experience before is great too . Im glad I went & did it , just wish I was smarter about it & didn't let the City eat me up ....... SF is a all night playground for the addicted & curious from the South Bay .

Good Shit - I also didn't go into cooking - I went to become a butcher & thats what I do . But I can do the basics in French Cooking - cutting up meat is fun to me .

I got my shit on friday I believe.. 4975 check cuz I payed for classes on my credit card didnt know you could waive them if u had financial aid. This is my first year being on this shit.. Ill have about 1700 left after books. Yaddida! Gonna cop some uneeded shit most likely might put like 1000 in savings though or just take whats left over and pay off my other card completely thatid be nice to have 0 debt..
