fedor has never run from anybody. he fought everybody in pride. not going to the ufc was about co-promotion and not anything else.

now on to the topic. i think rogers is screwed. quite the step up in competetion. even though he knowcked out arlovski im not convinced hes any good. i think part of that is because he has such a sloppy looking body.

yea people that jump on fedors nuts dunno too much about mma... just believe the hype... not takin anyway from fedor but the dude is waaaay to over hyped to me... frankly im sick of hearing his name.... until the day he comes in and destroys a CURRENT ufc champ instead of the former ones.. then i will say hes the greatest HW but until then hes just another lesser promotions money maker to me.

i hate brock as a person and a fighter but respect his ground and pound and beleive he would eat fedor and spit him into the upper deck.

Rogers stands a puncher's chance, but that's about it. He's big, and can punch.

He's going to get taken down and submitted.

Intriguing fight nonetheless because there is always that chance that he lands a clean one. Fedor can definitely be hit, and Rogers has the one punch power to put anyone down, even cyborg Russians.

Rogers gonna get it, ill put loot on it if anybody down

Fraidor is goin down!!!!

Rogers my boy went to high school with him and even whooped his ass back in middle school. A Rogers win would make me #1 heavyweight in the world.
haha turn mma into wwe.... if he wins... jump outta the crowd start some shit on the mic and say how u beat his ass back in the day.... see what happens hahahaha

What would a loss to Rogers do to Fedor's legacy? He is the only fighter in MMA who has mystique about him. It's almost like he's not human and cannot lose. But how would things change if he lost??

Personally I think a lot of his value goes down the drain big time very similar to what happened with Mike Tyson and Buster Douglas. I feel like if he went to the UFC and if he did end up losing to Brock it would be easier to accept. The changing of the guard and the new era of "MMA super athletes".

That's what pisses me off is I feel like 50% of the people who are Fedor fans (not saying you're one dude) are only on the wagon because he's undefeated, and as soon as he loses, which is inevitable, everyone's going to start saying he's overrated and he's done etc. When the fucking guy has beaten everyone there's ever been to beat and looked better than anyone to ever fight doing it. This is going to be his third fight against a top 10 heavyweight in the past year (Sylvia- 5ish, Arlovski- 2, Rogers- 10)

One thing that worries me about this fight is Fedor always beats people at their own strength, and for Rogers that's going to be his standup. I have no doubt Fedor can beat the shit out of him standing up, but all Rogers needs is one punch while Fedor's never really been a KO guy.

Overeem's still being an ass and fighting in K-1 in september and for a Golden Glory event in october so no one knows when he's going to defend the belt but I'm guessing this means they want him to fight Werdum, and the winner of Fedor and Rogers will fight the winner of that. If Fedor loses he'll probably fight the loser, and I'd hope Strikeforce brought Aleks in to avenge his brother and set up The Grim Reaper vs. The Grim lol

Win or lose, Fedor will without a doubt be the greatest heavyweight and possibly the best fighter in MMA's short history. It just makes me smh when I see someone like him going to face someone like Brett Rogers. Don't get me wrong Brett Rogers is a good, up and coming heavy weight, but putting your legacy, mystique and value on the line against him in a sport where anybody can win on any given saturday(lol) just makes me smh.

Basically what I am saying is your going to risk it all, risk it against the best.
