Good thing I always pass on the Street Scene... That clearly indicates that Dago doesnt have its own underground scene & why the locals dont support their local artists......
Booo!!!

the Organizers of street scene are way out of touch....instead of soliticing for local bands and artist as early openers, whom most would glady do for the exposure or just to be a part of it, they go out and pay low market national acts....

Street Scene is a huge SD event, Where are all the SD Artist?

This is no longer a local event it stopped being a local event once this dude took over and moved it out of the gaslamp...he wants this shit to be like a lollapalooza kinda thing and not really a local bands festival...thats why they did the all ages thing and stopped having as many local bands...thats it plain and simple. This thing will be sprinkled with the occasional local jam band or some local reggae band that might play canes once a month but for the most part this shit is trying to be a big national thing and they cant be that if they have local hip hop acts and their fanbase(i.e., US) at their show. The older white folks of SD were complaining about this shit 5 years or so ago when it first started changing

Fuck the Street Scene... This indicates why Dago doesnt have its own underground scene & the local audience dont reely support local artists to begin with......
