anyway bear, the truth is it's hard for me to consider anything strange because i've listened to such a variety of music. everything from folk to pig squeals and bree to post rock like the coma lilies.

I'm really getting into Dillinger Escape Plan. I know Patton worked with them a little, but aside from that they're in a whole new genre of music. I'd like to get a hold of that 50's Italian pop music he's been doing with that hot ass female. I can't remember the name of the band, though.

The Peeping Tom and Mr. Bungle albums are kinda weird in a sense that they use random noises to generate rhythm.

The Knife

I've never really checked out The Knife but always heard good things about them and how strange they are. I downloaded Fever Ray a few days ago not knowing it was the girl from The Knife's solo album and I was digging it quite abit. I'll have to check out some of their stuff too.

my cokehead friends got me into them lol. Silent Shout is weird experimental stuff and Deep Cuts is mostly dance stuff, never heard the self titled one.

Check out that Fever Ray album, it's really dark. I like it a lot after listening to it on the bus ride to work today.
