because they started doing it 17 years ago, to be different and have a gimmick, and in return, its made them both multimillionaires, with one of, if not the biggest independent label, and a fan base that i dont think another rapper can even hope to achieve, as far as dedicated and such.. like dude said, if not for that, theyd be 2 white dudes rappin about murder and shit. They built an entire Mythology around their gimmick, and that gave them enough material to keep fans around for 12 years, just waiting for the 6 joker cards. No one else went so in depth and created such a "world" of music in the rap game.

i know im bias, im a "juggalo", but truth is, they gave a lot to the game, wheter the mass media knows it or not, and they got theirs in return.. And 17 years later, there still going, and can still promote all their artist, and have all their artist still blowin copies out the door.

I feel you on that that's foreal. But you gotta understand though alot of the fans Tech got over the past few years is becuase of ICP they basically opened up the floodgates for him amongst their fanbase but I can see what you are talking about with the Tech/Psychopathic association.

I however don't think Tech is sitting there like alot of the people on the boards whining, complaining or anything of the sort that he's not on the cover. I am sure the dude is straight with having a spread in the magazine and people are paying attention to his Strange Music label.

Regardless if Tech is associating with Psychopathic or not honestly: You can play people some Tech tracks and the perspective of him will change becuase the dude has skills and can reach a broader audience hence is why he's got the hardcore Tech fans, Juggalos, Preps, whatever the fuck else you'll see at his shows.

In all reality though: ICP maybe looked at like jokes in the hip hop world and too many on this very board but they have done what many would love to accomplish by 34/35 years old.

Now persay what if Kottonmouth Kings were on the cover since that's who he is obviously associating with instead of ICP than what kind of shit would be said?

To each his own though.

I feel ya man, it's kind of funny IMO i think that SOME of the psychopathic artists are alot better then the Kottonmouth Kings, but KMK seems to be more well recieved by prepy kids and such which maybe why Tech fucks with them, that and the fact their Indie as well, but thats just observation i don't know that for sure and honestly don't care that much. Ya i respect what Psychopathic Records has done, they've reached out to a fan bases that truly loves their music and still consistantly buy their albums, but as i said before, ICP and the rest of Psychopathic will only relate to that specific fan base and not much more, so tech being associated with them kind of causes the same affect. blah blah blah blah blah, i've said it all before if you don't get my point it dosen't really matter, sorry i'm fucked up and am just rambling, yall take it easy.

If the average rap fan (who's never heard of Tech before) picked up this Murderdog issue, they would in no way relate them with ICP/Psychopathic (unless it says something about them in the Strange Article).

Is this issue out already?

The only place around here I know of to get Murder Dog is Books a Million, and they suck dick at putting up new issues of magazines.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but i'm beginning to think that their is only one cover and thats Psychopatic... until proven otherwise thats what i'm going to presume, cause thats all i've seen.
