lmao at the hate to face paint when tech paints his face and without the juggalos, he would of sold 15,000 albums instead of 33
my point being that instead of being a PLATINUM artist he must reamain reaching as hard as he can for gold, think about it and it'll make sence.

You know I wanted to ask about that. Where was he saying that stupid shit about "if people dl my shit early I'm going to jail"?? I saw that in someone's sig and thought it was pretty fucking lame.

He's lucky if people listen to the album at all, IMO. But to threaten the type of fan that would want to hear that shit early, and say you're going to murder him...

Well I mean, that would be like 50% of his sales right there.
you`r right mayne...

That Sadistik track is interesting... kind of all over the place, but interesting... lyrically constructed well.... hmmmm... but if that's one of his better tracks, I probably wouldnt like him overall...

^ I liked that track better, the only thing that got on my nerves is his heavy breathing between lines on that first verse...

he reminds me of a more rugged sounding Slug

btw, you've been sig-jacked :siccness:

I can respect your position, but the reason this can be percieved as a problem to have Pschopathic Records artists on the cover of a mag. that Strange Music has a detailed layout about is that once again the two get associated as being hand in hand the same when in reallity their completely different. I got no problem with Pschopathic dudes doin their thing, but IMO Tech N9ne, if not associated with Pschopathic could be on a level as say... an Eminem. Now some of yall may say thats b/s, but once again thats just my opinion, much respect to what the Juggalos are doing for themselves, but this once again is showing an association between tech and Pschopathic, which means tech is only gonna be able to sell records to Pschopathic fans and to those with an open mind, but to be completely honest the average rap music listener will not even pick up a Pschopathic record, so with tech being associated with them they won't pick up his shit either, even though he has a completely different style from them dudes. Ask any nigga out in chicago if they heard of tech n9ne and they'll imiadiatly respond, "oh thats that juggalo white shit right, i don't fucks with that." then i play them the new killer shit and welcome to the midwest and their opinion changes. thats just real talk...

I feel you on that that's foreal. But you gotta understand though alot of the fans Tech got over the past few years is becuase of ICP they basically opened up the floodgates for him amongst their fanbase but I can see what you are talking about with the Tech/Psychopathic association.

I however don't think Tech is sitting there like alot of the people on the boards whining, complaining or anything of the sort that he's not on the cover. I am sure the dude is straight with having a spread in the magazine and people are paying attention to his Strange Music label.

Regardless if Tech is associating with Psychopathic or not honestly: You can play people some Tech tracks and the perspective of him will change becuase the dude has skills and can reach a broader audience hence is why he's got the hardcore Tech fans, Juggalos, Preps, whatever the fuck else you'll see at his shows.

In all reality though: ICP maybe looked at like jokes in the hip hop world and too many on this very board but they have done what many would love to accomplish by 34/35 years old.

Now persay what if Kottonmouth Kings were on the cover since that's who he is obviously associating with instead of ICP than what kind of shit would be said?

To each his own though.

I just laughed my ass off looking at those CLOWNS on the cover of Murder Dog. I know, they're "clowns,"... but why..... WHY...... WHY THE FUCK DO THEY THINK THAT'S COOL TO PAINT THEIR FACES LIKE THAT???!!! :dead:

I'm sorry, but that is so.... gay.
because they started doing it 17 years ago, to be different and have a gimmick, and in return, its made them both multimillionaires, with one of, if not the biggest independent label, and a fan base that i dont think another rapper can even hope to achieve, as far as dedicated and such.. like dude said, if not for that, theyd be 2 white dudes rappin about murder and shit. They built an entire Mythology around their gimmick, and that gave them enough material to keep fans around for 12 years, just waiting for the 6 joker cards. No one else went so in depth and created such a "world" of music in the rap game.

i know im bias, im a "juggalo", but truth is, they gave a lot to the game, wheter the mass media knows it or not, and they got theirs in return.. And 17 years later, there still going, and can still promote all their artist, and have all their artist still blowin copies out the door.
