Store Clerk Falls Asleep With Quarter-Pound of Marijuana

MERRIMACK, N.H. -- Police say a 19-year-old convenience store clerk fell asleep on two jobs this week: minding the store and selling drugs.

Sammer Gandhi of Nashua was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute after two Merrimack officers found him sleeping in the store's office with a quarter-pound of marijuana.

It happened late Monday at a 7-Eleven after a customer called police to report no one was in the store.

Police searched the building and say they found Gandhi sleeping in a back office. They say he was packaging the pot for resale

No shit, one time some homies and I went into a liquor store in san jose at around 1 am trying to get some brew. We're looking around the store and notice nobody is working there at all. The store was silent and completley dead. It kinda creeped out the people I was with cause they instantly thought that maybe the store just got robbed and the employee got killed or was in the back tied up or something. Anyway, I just grabbed some free beer and bounced out!
