vallejo on mines but texas is hard cuzzo. they original n they grind harder than the bay artists as a whole AS OF RIGHT NOW. when i was in texas back in '01 for a year(military), mike jones n slim thugg n all them were doin shows n gettin paid 5g's. this is before the deals and before mainstream knew about them. I use to hit major functions back in the days and no matter if it was a Jack the rapper, Bayou Classic, Galveston Beach etc etc..whenever Bay cats got to spittin' we would attract a crowd. Honestly slang is universal, we use regional slang in everyday convo without trippin. In a earlier post I saw the word 'herb' & that's some back east shit.

But please pay attention to the bolded sentence in Soak's quote, and soak game.

Soak, I'm not a muthafuckin historian, so i cant say with 100% certainty that houston cats weren't using the slang before the late 80's, but i'm not just throwing out random dates either because i used the slang myself during that time. But I would be willing to bet my left nut to a ice cold mickeys that if it didn't originate in the Town during that time at least the bay is where that weak ass fuck lil flip got it from.......And if this were an isolated incident maybe it wouldn't be a big deal, but niggas jack bay shit all the time that we don't get credit for.
