still having spyware probs

A while back i posted up i was having trouble with this site that keeps putting itself as my homepage everytime i logg off my account. It pops up in my moms and sisters accounts to, its http://www.thebestse.com/ i'm fucking sick and tired of this shit...everytime my desktop loads up it has like 5 things that say like college blah blah fucking viagra, sex chat or some shit, its like adds and they go in my bookmarks to, gotta delete everything every time. I tried spyware search and destroy and ad-aware 6.0 but that STILL didn't work. Anybody know what else to to do?

Try spyhunter and also go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp and run this online virus checker, maybe that will fix it.

Have you tried starting your computer in Safe Mode before using Spybot or AdAware? There is also a program called Hijack This which I think is on download.com, but you have to know exactly what is listed when it searches, otherwise you will most likely end up deleting something usefull.

Make sure you check your settings too, cuz if you get a homepage set in IE it'll stay there unless you delete it yourself I think, I don't think Spybot or Ad-Aware or any of those can change it back. Get the URL of the homepage it's taking you to, and search for that in the registry and in Windows (search all files/subfolders and put it in the Containing Text field not the Named field.) You might find it that way too.

I tried everything...I did find hella viruses but when I restarted that site still came up I don't know what to do now...i wish i knew how that site got there, how it made itself my homepage

win button + R - run dialog comes up
type msconfig - msnconfig runs
go to start up tab, (top right)
untick everything unless you know the name of the prog, like msnmgr etc.
then OK it
a box apears saying restart now/later, click what u want to do, cuz when u start up your computer next time, you shoulnt have all the stupid prg shiit loaded, myte work, myte not, but it's good to do to your computer evry so often.
