I dont think theres a single fan of football who doesnt/didnt appreciate what Steve McNair gave us every Sunday, He was a great leader, had tremendous heart, and played through many injuries, he was the reason I liked the Titans, and even when he left, i continued to like the Titans.

I would hope he someday reaches the Hall Of Fame, and fuck the Rams

Ex-boyfriend of Sahel Kazemi: 'She did not deserve this'

The former boyfriend of Sahel Kazemi, who died in a double shooting with Steve McNair on Saturday, suggested to the Tennessean that the married former NFL QB was leading on the 20-year-old.

Keith Norfleet, Kazemi's boyfriend for four years before they broke up five months ago, told the Tennessean he came to pick up the car for Kazemi after she was arrested on Thursday morning for suspicion of drunken driving.

Norfleet said McNair was in the car with her when the stop occurred, a fact that was not in the police affidavit but was confirmed by police Saturday night. McNair later bailed Kazemi out, according to bail bondsmen.

Norfleet said she told him she was seeing McNair, who she met while working as a waitress at Dave & Busters.

He was worried about her dating a married man and hopeful they'd get back together. They had been living together for four years, since they moved from her family's home in Jacksonville, Fla., to Nashville.

"She is the sweetest girl, and she did not deserve this," Norfleet said upon learning of her death. "He was making her believe they were going to be together, and everything would be perfect."

Being a long time houston oiler/ tennessee titan fan, I am hella saddened by this news. I guess I can really sympathize with the michael jackson fans that were devastated by his recent death. Steve mcnair really was the heart and soul of the titans, during his career there. Fondly, imma reflect and remember how he successfully transitioned from being a scrambling qb, from a small historically black school, to a drop back passer that shared the mvp award.

The play that I will always remember is the play before the last play of the superbowl, where he scrambled away from a rushing kevin carter to hit dyson around the ten yard line, to set up the famous final play.

Steve, thank you for the memories. Godspeed.
