Funny how it's only Giants fans sticking up for him (and there's even Giants fans bashing him now.) Barry is the laughing stock of the MLB. He's a joke. No fans respect him. The only ones sticking up for him are Giants fans who are willing to put their blinders on and avoid the truth because Barry is all the Giants have. Without him you have nothing. All Giants fans come out to SBC for is to be a part of "the scene," to wave rubber chickens, to do the "chicken dance," to boo Barry's walks and cheer Barry's home runs... When Barry's not up they're too busy with their laptops, wireless internet, wine and sushi to watch the game.

You truly are a dumbfuck...I did'nt say you had to hit the major league pitch to be a fan...I was making a point that fans, such as yourself, are speaking on some shit that yall don't even know...all these motherfuckers sayin, "he wouldn't have done shit without steroids," and yet don't know shit about hitting a major league baseball...And as for sports shows, websites, talk shows, blahblahblah...opinions are like assholes, ya dig? If you could rub some cream on your body and magically hit 73 jacks, then why the fuck isn't everyone? my whole point, is that, what are they gonna do to him? suspend him? put an asterisk next to him? no fucking way. AND, if they do anything, its gonna TAINT the game far more than his steroid usage ever will. Who are we gonna watch go for some records or play at all? A-rod? albert pujols? lance berkman? fuck no. Bonds has a fucking aura that he makes people (not just Giants fans) turn on the tv, or just watch him when he's batting. Steroids may be cheating, but i just dont give a fuck. What i agree with is that people dont know what theyre talking about half the time...everyones gonna have an opinion about it, and i dont care to listen to it. its like listening to peoples concerns about Scott Pederson. I dont know every detail about this, and so i dont care and nor is it my business.

This is more than STEROIDs=CHEATING. Its way deeper than that. I dont give two shits if the Chronicle writes about Babe Ruths grandson and what he thinks. Fuck all that. When Babe Ruth hit a home run, he wouldnt even have to run around the bases, he would just run to first and back.

I didn't say he couldn't have done what he did without steroids, in fact I said he might have done better without them, what I said was it doesn't matter either way because the numbers are tainted. However I understand why people would say that... He hooked up with Anderson, and suddenly hits better than ever at an age where most players skills would diminish. The same way a critic can't say the roids helped him a supporter can't say he would have hit that well if he didn't use them. He was one of the greatest hitters ever, probably the best we'll see in our lifetimes... But if that's the case, why start using steroids? The fact that he used them calls everything he's done since then into question.

By the way, last time I checked the A's and Giants had an even win-loss record... Except for the 4 games the A's won in '89 when it counted the most.
