ok so let me now ask you this...what do you have against marketing?

~k.
Nothing, but it's the fact of the matter of putting too much on it. Which seems like a typical thing now a days in everything.

Then again, I'm a believer that less is more and products technically speaks for themselves if in fact it's true. What happened to the real people / consumers speaking about the product? Not the companies. The company states, "This product will enhance this and that." And like idiots, we say "Yeah, it does!" even if it did nothing.

Ah, I beg to differ. It's a trap, nothing is FREE , get them to flock in...they taste the product and they BUY IT Tuche' though...good marketing.

In your defence though, I happened to of walked into a cell phone store (about 6 years ago) and I noticed people were going in there like crazy. When I got there there were no lines though...

Anyhow, they were giving away FREE prepaid cell phones (I wasn't aware of this at the time I went in though...right place, right time). I was kind of a dick with the dude cause I figured there was a catch, but no...I walked out of there with a FREE cell phone which I have now turned into a plan, but I've had the same number since (never changed) and been with that company for 6 plus years. Plus, have upgraded my phone from time to time. And yes, I pay my bill every month, so it didn't turn out to be so FREE, but hey...everybody's happy. And there was the catch.

So in all, I guess it depends how good of a salesman people are. but I think it's also a thing where everybody believes they can do it (sell), but fact of the matter is, it's not the case. Too many companies are rather vauge and lot's of people can see them coming a mile away.

thats the whole point.

you get a gold star for today.

Silver, but it still doesn't make a difference in people believing the hype and making out to be more than what it really is. As in this skit mocking bad marketing...

I did have to wait in line though. Plus I had to actually put a smile on my face cuz the lady told me Good Morning (It rarely happens.) That's what's up homie.

Cool, I'll call you about 15 -20 minutes before I go and you could wait in line with a smile, so by the time I get there I could take cuts and piss people off in real life LMAO!!!!
