haha. i used to make most my money off ebay, but youre right it is saturated right now. i dont think you could make money going through a distributor and selling cds right now, at least on ebay. even through a distro youre paying usually at least 2/3 of retail plus you have to make minimum orders and sometimes pay shipping. mixtapes and urban cds sometimes have much lower costs, but still. it would be hard to make a profit. especially paying ebay and paypal their cut
It's alot harder to make an income off of eBay now days because of to many reasons. You have to have connections with the right distributors and not middle men. You also have to have the right products or service.
I first started making money online through eBay back in 06 and now I do Affiliate marketing/Internet marketing and I make alot more money because of me starting out with eBay, you learn so much.

There were periods I did extremely well on E-bay. The biggest challenge I had was I would introduce something not sold on E-bay, if lucky had maybe a month of being the only one to sell the product, then I'd get some big timer come and sell the same item cheaper than I could even buy it for. Then, you may have someone mad that it's way cheaper after they bought it from you seeing someone else listing it.
It can be done, but it's not for everyone. If you don't have working capital ( meaning you cant leave 1,000 in your PP account untouched) you better only be a minor hobbyist.
