He disses the bay!
KRS be dissing the Bay all the time.
How are we gonna allow this cat to come up in here (theBay) and diss Too Short and Ant Banks, from back in the day...
If I remember correctly a case can be made of his New York elitism and how he been dissin Bay cats for the longest, cats just don't speak on it...
As a fact he DID diss the Bay at Stanford University...so this may not even be about KRS vs Adisa as much as KRS vs The Bay, fo' real..
This fool straight out said that Too Short and Ant Banks was not hip hop, which if you follow that line of thinking that means that every artist in the Bay and everybody on this board aint hiphop and aint about real shit...
He called one of the main documentors of the Bay scene a fed agent?! The truth of the matter is the Too Short was signed to Jive before KRS, and an argument could be made that Boogie Down Productions got signed because of Short.
why?
Where was Jive going to pay for KRS? By Shorts sales in the first place.
In Adisa's new shirt (book) there is Balance, Mixmaster Mike, Ray Luv from 92? Puleeze?
Show me somebody else from the Bay that gives a hoot about the Hyphy scene and shows this kinda love for this many years...

Listening as we speak....But what it sounds like so far are a bunch of BITTER cats who have passed their prime and can't accept the fact that "Hip-Hop" has evolved...Kinda like how big fat broads complain about rap videos "degrading women"....If they had the bodies to do it, they WOULD! lol....
