What do you mean by "secure sites" give me a link to one of the sites you can't access.

Go to this page and get what you need....look under privacy and security....your a fool if you go purchase anti-spyware or adware...just my opinion...no need to do that. You might as well send that loot to me. http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/freeware.html

Nice work! thanks for your help. Damn I finally got into my e-mail. Only 70 un read e-mail. All this shit is new to me. I didn't have internet at home for a good year. I was always using the computers at the library. So all this spyware and firewall shit is new to me.

Thanks for your help. I now have a firewall and im dowloading a web browser.

okay my new question is this...how become when I try to play online poker it wont load the game? Every site I go to it wont download the applet. Do you know what thats all about?

You're welcome mang! You may have to lower the settings more to allow Active X controls. It's in the security tab in internet options....enable it ....I'm assuming you got XP installed....I'm running 2000 . it should say something like "enable signed active x controls" ....and I work at a research company. they do all kinds of different shit.....I do tourism statistics of international air travellers. a lot of our shit is in the world almanac .....lot's of numbers...computers do most of the work...I really don't do much at all.

what do you mean you are downloading a web browser.....if you downloaded a firewall and now you're getting a "web browser"......that means you already have a web browser.....IE....is your web browser. For you I wouldn't suggest any other browser but that....not mozilla or netscape.

so does mozilla handle Java script any better than netscape? I never used mozilla ....installed netscape once....then uninstalled about 5 minutes later.

It does. Although it sometimes slows down the browser whenever Java is in use. The ony real problem I have had with java is that sometimes sites will have it, and when Java gets enabled, I get hit with a quick trojan and have to scan my computer to get rid of it. Luckily I just black list the sites that fuck me like that lol.
