Who plans on seeing this movie?

I thought the idea was pretty lame when I first heard about it.. but I saw the trailer to it when I saw apocolypto last night and I gotta admit, it did spark my interest. looks like it could be slightly corny, but overall very entertaining.

the premise seems legit too.. espn does a virtual enactment over who would win in a fight: rocky or the current heavy weight champ (played by tarver).. and the video game had rocky win it.. so it snowballs from there, yadiyadi and the fight gets set up. I think it comes out this friday.. maybe next friday.

Movie looks dope. Rocky movies are the shit...actually, I'm going to add The Rocky Anthology to my wish list...cause its 39.99 @ Target.


Gonna go watch this one on Wednesday !

I love the first 3 movies but after that they kind of went down hill. The one with Tommy Gunn was okay.

I just can't believe a 60-year old boxer going up against a 22-year old boxer...lol

Sorry but it's way to unrealistic for my taste.

and he is doing rambo 4 ... why is he making more sequals to movies that are classics. i think he is hurting the movies by making more ...

^ I think he's actually opening the doors to a new audience that might not have been interested in watching a 20 year old movie, had they not seen the new movies. I'm sure that there are people out there in which Rocky Balboa will be their first Rocky movie, and will want to check out the old movies to get further into the storyline. Same goes with Rambo.
