A Recent Rash Of Unidentified Flying Objects

It’s our tradition here at ALCWI to put out one article on each odd day of the month, but when something very odd happens we feel compelled to break even with our tradition.
Case in point … a friend of ours mentioned a strange blue orb they had seen in the sky. Now, before you go thinking to yourself, crazed lunatic, you need to know that these particular friends aren’t given to flights of insanity and they are as much skeptical as the rest of us are of the unexplained. However, when one sees something that defies a logical conclusion, the mind must search for an explanation to make sense of it all – and they couldn’t find one.
We had considered it to be a helicopter or a plane passing over, but the blue orb in the sky didn’t fit that description very well. As such, we zipped onto the internet, expecting to see news of a late night space launch or some space debris falling to Earth. Instead, we were greeted with one report after another of people having the same bizarre sighting. And to make matters more interesting, it wasn’t a local phenomenon. On the nights of July 23rd and July24th, 2010, something unexplainable was occurring in the skies over North America.
