The Sandman KILLED Ben Parker -1ST POST MORE ON THE WAY.. I GOT 2 MUCH DETAILS 2 SEND PM............

While there has been many spoilers concerning the latest Spider-Man 3 out on the web, blackfilm.com has come to learn that last Friday, June 30th, the latest sequence shot was at the New York Public Library. For those who recall the first film very well, you may remember that it was at the library where Peter Parker had seen his uncle, Ben Parker, die in his arms after being carjacked in the street and that as he chased the killer Peter Parker/ Spider-Man used his webs for the first time to fly around the city to catch him. After catching the killer, played by Michael Papajohn, in an abandoned warehouse, Parker remembered that it was he who first saw the killer at the sports arena where he wrestled and let him go initially after the thief/ killer stole the gate money. In a fight with Spider-Man, the killer had fell out of a window to his death. Well, the producers have brought back Cliff Robertson as Uncle Ben and re-created the exact scene by the library where Ben died and have placed Thomas Hayden Church, who's playing Flint Marko aka Sandman there as well. We never did see the scene where Ben was carjacked and killed, just his body on the floor when Peter saw him. Placing the Sandman in that scene could have new meaning to the story, especially since it was Ben's death that made Peter take his life more serious and his role as Spider-Man to greater depths. Robertson also appeared in the sequel as well.

LEAKED INFO 4ROM INSIDE MOVIE SOURCE INTERVIEW

This is the first set of questions that I asked.
Q.Does spidey wear the black symbiote?
A.Yes

Q.What does it look like, any white spider emblems on the chest/back?
A.No white, black version of the current costume with the webbing on top

Q.Who are all the villains in this movie, and how much screen time does each one have?
A.Ven,San,GG2. Sandman is the main, building up to venom at end. GG has a good amount though not sure how much time. He's in 2 major battles.

Q.If Harry is the goblin, which one is he in the movie,GG2 or Hobgoblin?
A.He's GG

Q.What does the goblin suit look like?
A.Nothing like the first movie.Picture a black version of a ski/snow boarder suit with belts across leg and razor blades on the right arm.The mask is goggles and a mouth mask in green.Nothing Goblin like.

Q.Does spidey fight two villains at once at any time?
A.Yes he fights two at one time.

Q.Does Venom have teeth,tongue?
A.Yes venom has nasty teeth, no where near exaggerated in the comics. Just really sharp yellow teeth, very fang like, it will be prosthetics, tounge wil be CG.

Q.How big does Venom appear to be compared to spidey?
A.Venom will be the same size as Spidey, basically the bad version of spidey.

Q.Is Topher Brock?
A.Topher is brock.

Q.Who dies in this movie?
A.Still undetermined.Though Harry will bite it.

Q.Does John Jameson confront Peter or MJ in the movie?
A.No idea.

Q.What kind of things does Sandman do in this movie power wise?
A.Grows a lot,sandstorms,hand as a sledgehammer.The FX will raise the bar.

Q.How much screen time does Dr.Connors have, does he mention anything about lizard experiments?
A.No clue on screen time, but Connors studies the symbiote sample. So we see the inside of his lab.

This is the second set of questions that I asked after I got his answers from the first set of questions that I asked.

Q.Does the GG look cool, how much green does he have on him,is his black snow suit have a black hood that covers the top of his head,do the belts on his legs hold pumpkin bombs,is his goggles yellow lens, does he wear gloves of any kind, and why does Harry go with this suit instead of the one his father used?
A.He looks cool as an individual idea. But again, nothing remotely goblin like about him except the weapons, glider and some green on him.
No hood, the belts hold two swords. One long one on his back,a smaller one on his right leg.Pumpkin bombs are in his glider.Goggles are black.Gloves are black.
No idea why. Possible to make it more to his liking, a way to "improve".

Q.Does Venom fight in this movie or does he just show up as a cliffhanger?
A.Yes he fights. Again, he will fight Spidey with Sandman at the end,the movie leads up to this "battle royale" at the construction site.GG will also join in the fight, but not on the sides of Ven/San

Q.Does Venom's veins have a purple color to it?
A.Not that I know of.

Q.I'm kinda confused, does spidey wear the symbiote before Brock gets it?
A.Yes. After his date with MJ,the symbiote clings to his shoe and waits for Parker in his room one night. He then wakes up upside down on the side of a building wearing the symbiote costume.

Q.If spidey does wear the symbiote, what does it look like exactly?
A.The same costume as blue/red only black with all the scale detail and webbing over it.Not impressive.

Q.And how long does he wear the suit?
A.Not sure since the movie hasnt been piece together. But right now a good chunk since the movie is about Peter and how the symbiote possesses him,and the decisions he has to make.

Q.Who does he fight with it?
A.Sandman,robbers,and Harry

Q.What makes him take it off?
A.Bell tower.

Q.Does the Sandman ever turn his hands into a mace?
A.No idea,sledgehammer is all i know.

Q.Where do all the fights take place on/at?
A.All over.In the air/alley,underground subway, armoured truck in the streets, construction site.

Q.Is there a cliffhanger at the end of this movie?
A.Not currently. But there is one scene that leaves questions opened about the return of the symbiote.

Q.Who does Bruce Campbell play?
A.Don't know.

Q.Where does the symbiote come from?
A.An astroid.

Q.Does spidey wear his regular red and blue spidey suit in the movie?
A.Yes.

Q.Is S-M3 and S-M4 being made back to back?
A.Nope.We wish we had the budget for that.

Q.Is Venom going to be the villain for S-M4,or is S-M3 going to be it for him?
A.End of the line for Brocks version of Venom, but not the symbiote itself.

Q.Is there lots of fights/action in this movie?
A.TONS.4 BIG fight sequences. All very fun,and clever.Won't be disappointed in that department.

PLOT SPOILERS PT.1

About 13 pages into the script you get to know the Sandman, the alien symbiote and the GG2. The alien symbiote originates from a meteorite, it happens to get in contact with Peter and follows him to his apartment. It's in there and waits…

We see an early fight with the GG2, in which Spidey gets his ass kicked. But then everything turns and the GG2 is thrown into a narrow alley, where he runs his head into a web that almost kills him. Peter saves him, but Harry doesn't remember a lot. So there we have another amnesia in the comic world! Flint turns into Sandman when he is being chased into a molecule testing area and boom… he becomes Sandman.

MJs career isn't getting on very well and she's a little bit envious of all the fame Spidey is receiving. At the same time, Peter is trying to propose to MJ. Gwen Stacy appears as Peter's tutor, as they're both attending Dr. Connors' class. She's also described as a floozy and was meeting Eddie Brock, but it was nothing serious. She gets to know Spider-Man during a Spider-Man Day event and kisses him upside down. This does not last long, as Sandman hijacks an armored car. Spider-Man appears and tries to save the day. Imagine that fight like the sand storm from "The Mummy Returns". The fight ends up with Sandman fleeing, but not before Brock takes a photo of a defeated Spider-Man. When Peter finds out how to propose to MJ, they meet in a café. Gwen comes in just to ask whether he has this picture of her kissing Spider-man. MJ doesn't like that at all.

Brock, who according to the script was hired one week before, and Peter compete for one of the steady jobs at the Bugle. Both take photos of spider-man, but only Brock's don't put him in a good light. At the same time, Peter and aunt may are called to the police station where they receive shocking news: it seems that uncle Ben's murderer from the first film actually isn't his murderer, but only a guy that helped. The true murderer is… as assumed…Flint Marko! Peter takes it personal with Sandman. He hunts him quite down, without success. Only in case he sits in front of the radio set. He even pushes MJ away when she tries to confront him because of the photos. He sleeps with the radio set and that's the perfect moment for the symbiote to make its move. He wakes up high above the city in his black suit. With the power the suit gives him, he easily finds Sandman and an enormous fight takes place that leads to Sandman getting a load of water.

Spider-man returns to his apartment where this Russian guy ticks him off because of the rent. But Peter doesn't care. He tells the guy off and you see a hint of the alien symbiote's true nature, with all the teeth etc. MJ gets a new job and visits Harry for the first time after peter is turning her down. At that moment, Harry starts to remember everything. They kiss, but she runs out of the door after realizing what she's done. When she returns to her apartment, someone's waiting for her: GG2. He makes her to meet Peter, so that he could force her with the threat of killing peter to quit with peter and go with him. Peter suffers from the symbiote's blind rage, but he doesn't care. He confronts Brock, who faked photos of spider-man. Peter proves this and gets him fired by JJJ. Peter brings his suit to Dr. Connors, who has a lot of lizard stuff on his walls.

The next day, he goes out with Gwen to the place where MJ is performing as a singer. Her father bugs her for money. Peter steals her spotlight and Gwen realizes that he does this only to get MJ back. She runs away. Peter gives a **** about it and goes on at everyone. MJs father doesn't like this and confronts him. But Peter tosses him and beats MJ. He realizes that the suit makes him do these things and decides to get rid of it. He swings onto the top of a church and tries to get rid of it unsuccessfully. Hating spider-man for pinching his ex, and hating Peter for being fired because of him, Brock goes into the church to commit suicide. But lucky for him to be there. And luckily the church bell rings and the costume melts away… and lands in Brock's hands: Venom is born!

Venom finds Sandman and teams up with him, in order to kill Spider-man. They kidnap Gwen and bring her on top of a 70 stories high building for the classic drop scene. Venom and sandman kick the hell out of Spider-Man which brings MJ to beg Harry to help him. He comes to the rescue when Venom is trying to impale Spider-Man. The fight rages with one pumpkin bomb to another. Gwen falls, but is saved without a broken neck. She wants to kiss Spider-man again, but he refuses. Venom tries to impale Spider-man again but Harry gets in his way and takes over control.

There's a subplot about the Sandman, according to which he commits all the crimes in order to raise money for the health of his child. But who cares about that. By the way, the child is the one who begs Sandman not to fight Spider-Man anymore. Peter remembers the bell and starts ringing it, so that the noise helps him to win the fight.

MOVIE PLOT PT. 2 SPOILERIFIC

Where does Venom come from? Well, the symbiote clings to Peter after a date with MJ - like gum on his shoe to begin with, almost. As he sleeps, covers him - we see this in the trailer. When he wakes up, he's hanging upside down on the side of a building - much like the final shot in the teaser. It's the old werewolf thing - but used to dramatise Peter's internal conflict. Venom adopts an appearance like the red/blue Spidey suit because Peter is wearing it when it covers him - though he's not wearing the mask, so there's a little dramatic license at play. Tut tut - can do better, Mr. Raimi. See me after class.

Before getting on Peter, the symbiote has a rather 50's sci-fi origin, not unlike that of The Blob. It looks like Raimi has had a lot of fun with this element of the story.
Okay - back to the plot. How does Eddie Brock become Venom? Well, when Spidey is "caught" by the symbiote, Brock follows this Venom character to a church bell tower. He's both trying to upstage Peter's coverage in the Bugle, and also twist the knife into Spidey. Here, Peter manages to overcome the symbiote and rip himself free of the suit, but some of it falls onto Brock. That is, of course, all he needs to soon "become" Venom. We see plenty of shots from this sequence in the teaser, including Brock's discovery of who is inside the suit just before the symbiote gets onto him.

The Venom-Brock does not look exactly like the Venom-Spidey, but more organic, more like the comic book Venom. This is, apparently, due to the fact that Spidey had the red/blue suit on, Brock does not. Peter's split into two-halves in so many ways (Peter/Spidey, Spidey/Venom-Spidey, Peter/Dark Peter) that it would get confusing if the metaphorical values of each wasn't so clear.
For most of the film, Spider-Man is in pursuit of Flint Marko, The Sandman, but we begin with an early Green Goblin/Spider-Man show-down - some of which is seen in the trailer - shot at night-time, Harry's face is exposed clearly in most shots, you see him fly into the wall fist first. It is only at the end of the film that Spidey faces off against Venom. Thankfully, Harry herein comes to his aid in Green Goblin guise, showing that he too has won his own internal conflict much like Peter has. Hurrah for Harry.

Sadly, though, Harry is killed. Tears for Harry.

Aunt May also dies withinz the film's running time. Trust me, you don't want to know when and where.

Apparently, MJ does NOT die. I know I was expecting her to go, but if she does, it is somehow being kept an even bigger secret than the rest of these details.

All the business in the trailer with the ring? Well, apparently, there's much ado about that piece of jewellery - and at one point, it even ends up in a pawn shop. The romance storylines from 1 and 2 are every bit as much of 3 - maybe more so.
The Venom-Brock villain is conclusively dispatched, though the symbiote itself survives - so whatever hack is handed the series after Raimi leaves (taking Maguire and Dunst with him, no doubt) will be able to resurrect some kind of Venom villain.

Dark Spidey, as it were - Peter before he has overcome Venom - is the one who courts Gwen Stacey. Problems in the relationship with MJ, as well as professional issues - both as a photographer and crime-fighting webslinger, as it were - compound to bring him down. Real down. Even downer than last time. That's how Raimi, Sargent and co are using Venom - as a dramatic device to show Peter not just giving up on his great responsibility, but getting drunk on his great power.

Venom-Spidey fights some robbers, The Sandman and the Green Goblin before Peter dispels it in the bell-tower.

There are scenes inside Curt Connor's lab, where he studies the symbiote, and these scenes are also used to set up the research that will, in the character's story - though not in this movie - turn him into The Lizard. Take these teasing references more as tantalising morsels for the fanboy piranhas than concrete set-up for any subsequent film, however.

Spidey's fights with the Sandman not only take place in the Armoured Car chase so well covered on this blog (I was on set for much of the shooting) but also, I am told, in the subway. The final fight, the four-way rumble with Spidey, The Sandman, Venom and Harry as the Green Goblin, takes place in a construction site.

The extra villain that everybody has been speculating about makes only a fleeting appearance, and then only in a very off-hand but amusing way. Bruce Campbell's character this time around is Quentin Beck - known to fans of the comic as Mysterio. Again, don't take this as set-up for a subsequent film, but if anybody ever does put Mysterio in a film and NOT cast Bruce Campbell, they'll have hell to pay.

And of course, this also cleverly shines a new light on Campbell's two previous cameo appearances. Hilarious.

I can now confirm that the Black Cat does not make any significant appearance in the film, despite existing, on paper, in various earlier conceptions. She appears to have been removed for and replaced with Gwen Stacey. She was there for "Dark Peter" to romance, but Stacey was possibly considered a better choice as the franchise will need a new sweetheart now Dunst has made her intentions to depart clear

It seems cool, I think.. Not sure about it all, though.. Like the fact that Peter hits MJ... I'm not sure if they'd put that in a Spider-man movie... I know the symbiote does make you crazy and shit, but I'm not sure if they'd make Peter go wifebeater.. Maybe, kill some petty criminals or something.. Get in a fight with somebody as Peter, but not slap up MJ.
