Very true. It was JJ's son who brought back the Venom Symbiote. So It will definitely have Green Goblin. But I doubt it will have Venom. In Spider-Man 1 they mention Eddie Brock (Venom's human host) and in Spidey 2 they have Captain Jameson. But Venom would be too violent for a family film. They'll really have to pussify him to make the pg-13 rating.

ill pass, think the first one was ridiculously overrated, i thought it sucked hard...it didnt feel like a complete movei for some reason, i mean the hoggoblin pops out near the end, and then just like that it seems the movie ends.
i think its sad how movies nowadays focus on special effects and cgi to attract viewers, it reminds me of some of todays videogames, they lack what the old ones more than offered, which was good storylines and fun.
movies like siderman, spawn, all these superheroe movies, come on, its just an easy way to make bucks because the know with a shitty plot, they will at least attract the hardcore comic book fans, then with the fancy cgi special fx crap, the will attract the average schmoe...2 thumbs down for the first spiderman, i wont even bother w the second one...and about the possibility of a 3rd one, like we didnt see this coming.

that was in the 90s cartoon. in the comic book, venom became when spider-man went to another universe.
john jameson went to the moon took a rock back with him, and he started to wear it. every full moon he turns into wolfman.
venom became when spidey went to fight in the secret wars. a war with EVERY marvel hero fighting for earth that no one else new about. dubbed, secret war. spideys costume got shredded and he went to reed richerds (mr. fantastic). mr. fan. made a suit out of some material which was alive. time went buy, spidey went back to earth...blah blah blah....
then spidey wanted to get rid of the suit cuz it was messing with his mind. so he went to the only place that could destroy it. since the suit didnt like supersonic sounds, he went to a church and rang the BIG bell. that caused the suit to detach from him. little did spider-man know, that a guy who HATED him was beneath next to the alter praying to God. the suit went on him, VENOM.
i could give you details why the guy(eddie brock) hated spidey, but only upon request.....
