to me hes another victim of bad production after the 90's. His flow is not nearly as on point as it was in his hey day but i heard him still come tight when hes rapping over a coo' beat.
Have you really listened to his flow over the last decade? It's more on point than when he was in his "hey day". SPICE 1 is one of the few rappers who hasn't lost it. His production was hit and miss over his last few albums but get it right man. THE BLACK BOSSILINI's flow ain't went nowhere!!!

it's a good thing he's taking his time with this album perfecting it hopefully production wise. last interview i remember was that he was suppose to do a track with Ice Cube, now hopefully it did happen. im glad he's not dropping anymore wack albums with average production just to get a check and is now about to release something thats on his own label that should be quality.

Spice 1 is still one of my favorite rappers & I still cant get enough with all his old stuff with the best part him collabin with alotta mainstream rappers, shit even Nas listened to him (according to his track "where they at now" off Hip-Hop is dead) & Spice was surprised as fuck that Nas mentioned & he couldnt even imagine Nas listenin to him way back when Spice was at his heyday... I love Spice all cuz of his signature flow style & BLAOOOWWW!!!!!! his slogan!!! Thats what made him stood out reel hard apart from the other rappers that no other rapper can bite his style cuz they cant handle it all afraid theyre gonna get roasted on even tho the mainstream masses hardly ever heard of Spice which is true... After his contract ending with Jive he went straight indie only workin with all the indie rappers & a very few almost mainstream & some of his stuff he reeleased were pretty good & decent at best but I agree that we seriously need a vintage classic thatll take us back to his heyday however during this state & cycle of the rap game its gonna hard cuz they all have moved on with the cycle by following popular trends & goin by whats "hot" (as in pop) rite now & the 90s babys never grew up on the 90s rap & theyre only bumpin that millenium stuff so if he went back to the 90s type of sound with all quality production & good features, we (only in the siccness) along wit tons of ogs would call this a classic or barely however at the same time during the state of the game its gonna hurt his sales know what I mean peeps???

The ones Ive yet to hear are:
The Last Dance
Dyin to Ball
The Truth
& his 2nd collabo with MC Eiht
along with his little known compilations......

Are they all any good & worth bumpin??????

ps I thought his The Pioneers wit MC Eiht was pretty good & NTA wit Bad Boy was dope as fuck cuz he came up reel hard on that one he was on point wit his style & delivery
they were a unexpecting collabo as far as an unlikely dope Bay rapper with a chicano rapper & it featured rappers from norcal like Luni & T-Nutty which I thought it was rare & unimaginable ya know what I mean rite??? Thats why I thought it was one of his latest best projects imo that still shows he hasnt changed or switched up one lil bit...

download or cop "the last dance." thats the last solid spice album i've got in my collection. u have great solid production and features from UGK,MJG,Outlawz,C-BO,Crime Boss etc so u cant go wrong with that album at all. rating:4 outta 5.

as for "the truth" dl it. it's aite, not bads, i cant stand j silva's production. it's kinda bland and weak, but there are several tracks worth a bump.
rating:3-3.5 outta 5.
