nigga you dont think the og's deserve it more since they been doin it longer than the new booties?
I the think the OG'z deseve it all IF THEY ARE STILL MAKING PROGRESSIVE MOVES. If you tryin to ride off of what you did 10 years ago then NO. If you are going to say the same old shit that was hot 10 years ago then NO. That's like saying an old athlete past his prime deseves to start over the young up and coming star because of what they did in the past. If the older player was still the truth- they wouldn't go seeking the new player in the first place. If you are an O.G. and you stay current while contrling your O.G. status then YOU ARE A FUCKING BOSS. But if a old artist comes out of retierment just because they see the youths Hyphy style brought some attention to the Bay and they want a piece or feel like the game owes it to them then that's some bullshit. Yall never talk about how alot of these same 90's artist aided in ALOT of doors being shut in the Bay's face. That they cut corners makin bullshit compilations, recycled songs and verses making the Bay's rap scence look like a joke. It is because of the younger artist in the Bay like The Team, Mista FAB, The Frontline, Big Rich, The Pack, Turf,Yaboy...that their is a new found interest in the Bay. Now you couple that with O.G'z like 40, E-A-Ski, Ric Rock...and you have progress. A real O.G. knows when they are done-when theirtime is up. And to add to that I wish a few of these new post thizz/hyphy artist would get the picture that they never had it in the first place. Good music speaks for itself. So if Spice is going to make quality new shit I hope the best for him and his mainstream comeback. But if I hear him say "rat-a-tat-tatta" then I'll pass.
