Spice-1 over 40, Dre, and Short.

For the sake of argument

How far fetched is it to say that Spice-1 is a higher caliber rapper than everyone’s top 3 rap legends E-40, Mac Dre and Too Short?

Its not unconvincing. Spice-1 has had a gang of hits, many which are still played to this day. I personally feel he should be on that list

Old spice 1 is classic. Dont know about him being better then E-40 though. Old spice (1) and old 40 should have done an album together in the 90s. That would have been dope as fuck with the right production

the only problem with his catalog is not as consistent after Spiceberg Slim. Everything before that is classic!

Right. It’s only appropriate to base this on 90’s/ classic spice-1 —as pretty much all the Tupac era rappers (bone-thugs, twista, outkast 3-6, ice cube, cypress hill, brotha lynch, e-40 and too short included) fell off creatively right at the turn of the century when shady/aftermath g-unit ushered in the Eminem era.
