im pretty sick and tired of this news already.
first off fuck all athletes elitest attiudes, any orginization that gets a call about a trade is a fool for not listening, thats all denver did. Now Jay wants to get pissy about, fuck him! Noone is untouchable in any sport! Some of the best players all time have been traded realeased etc... So whatever.

Like I said who wouldnt want to hear what type of offers you get for one of your better players?
What if a team called Oakland and said hey we know NNamdi was just signed etc but lets listen to what we offer. Al would be crazy to not at least listen! Just because you listen and see what type of offeres are available doesnt mean you are shopping him. any team should always look to get better.

if your team is actively seeking/listening to trades for the 25 year old leader of your team that just made his first probowl is a problem....

plenty of high profile players get traded/cut...but its very RARE to happen when your 25, starting in the prime of your career...

lol @ mooreblock getting on someone for claiming they know everything...Scary is right, and he is being totally unbiased about this situation. I think Cutler is overreacting, teams field questions and proposals everyday. Its a business and if someone is going to offer something outrageous for a player then im listening. Plus there is a report out there stating the Cutler asked to be traded first after the qb coach left.
The reality is that there is a new front office in denver, from the looks of it they dont think cutler is the answer and want thier own people. I have a very different opinion of cutler on the field than most. I dont believe he is a leader at all(at least not yet) and i actually think cassell is a better rounded qb...not taking anything away from cutlers arm(ive raved about it on here before) his decision making is not quite there yet. i feel that he exceled in the system he was in, shanny did a great job of getting him in the shotgun, quick drops and spread offenses. but i thought he struggled from under center....I see denver has signed two pretty good running backs and still have the back from the giants visiting...maybe theyre going to a run first attack, which wont sit well with cutler.
cutlers on/off field antics maybe wearing old on some people as well, he seems to have a maturity issue. its funny cause people have talked about Rivers being a bitch and a punk, but as he continues to mature it seems like cutler is following in those same footsteps

Mooreblock....i'm not going to get into any war of words or anything like that on the board, but what has been one of my main staples of being here?? being right about the Broncos. Believe me, all they did was answer the phone and see what was offered. Like esco said, Cutler asked to be traded first, so whos right whos wrong?? both sides did things they shouldn't have, but 1 side pays the bills and has a business to run, the other collects a check. I disagree with Esco and think Cutler is moving along just fine and think he is a mighty fine qb, especially comparing him to the "better" early round qbs of Lienert and young right??? But thats not the point here....The point is any team that wants to be successful has to look at any and all options to get better. I can tell you right now, with the complete overhaul we have already done so far there is no way we can compete in 2009 so why not listen and see what kind of pics and players you can get for cutler now? All signs point to him leaving instead of resigning so may as well see what is offered.
I'd be mad if I was a franchise qb and they wanted Matt Cassel over me. If McDaniels want Matt Cassel so bad then the Chiefs should trade him for Cutler. I'm Chiefs fan and i'd take him cause he's proven. But he has faults too as far as some bad decision making but we need stability at qb. I like Tyler and he's good at completing the short and mid-range passes but is horrible wit his deep passes which is why we got Cassel, i believe.
just because your right about the broncos doesnt mean you know what happened....multiple sources have been reporting the same thing....to know cutler was available it had to be out there somehow....and a disgruntled cutler asking for a trade months ago wasnt how teams knew he was available....
