Soulja Boy is making millions and laughing. Gotta give the kid props. As much as I hate his music with all my heart, the dude is making it because of 1 (one) song! ONE, ONE silly fucking song. lmao. At the age of 17 or whatever the fuck, he has more money than most of us will ever make in our lifetimes. It's sad, but true. Society made him popular, so it's all our faults for allowing it to happen. We're like a communist society, if something is popular, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and doesn't really question it. If Hitler was our President in the 1940's, most of us would have followed him just like the German people did. Most humans are mentally weak, they allow shit like this to happen until it finally escalates into some bull$hit we can't control. Right now, the Rap game is uncontrollable and unchangeable, it's already infected with all this bullshit. People's mindset's when it comes to Rap ain't the same as the 90's. Rap WON'T ever be on the same level as it once was. It will only evolve into some wierd electronical stuff because of the rise of technology such as computers for music making. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. I bet less and less kids will take music classes in elementary since there's really no real structural musical elements going on in Rap today. It's been a while since I heard a rap song on the radio that has an actual bassline (not pitched 808 kicks), guitar riff, piano, strings, etc.... It's all electronical synth based Bullshit. That's why Rap in the 90's was so dope because the actual music itself was REAL sounding just like jazz, funk, classical music, which ultimately translated to good lyrics and even singing, MORE SOUL. You can't Rap about Laffy Taffy on some of the beats Tupac used, it just wouldn't sound right to the vibe of some of those great beats.
